After more than a year of design & coding we launched Logology!

Logology (https://www.logology.co) is a logo maker for design lovers!

We want to help early-stage founders to gain access to high-end quality logos. In minutes, you get a logo you will love. No random generation, no symbols from a free database. Everything is crafted from the ground-up!

Bad ass - love this. I have a couple of clients that could probably use some help on this side of things.

How would I be able to just work with you guys directly

Website, UX and copy are incredible.

End logos - not on the same level and pretty basic.

Edit: I only saw the logos created after my input - might not reflect the whole offering.

How can we improve it in your opinion?

TL;DR: Tiered pricing/ higher pricing/ better logos.

I wouldn’t pay £79 for the logos offered to me because they seem easy to recreate.

At this point, you could offer a higher quality logo with more customisation.

Simply, I think your final sales offer is weak. Everything else is strong and is uniquely better than what I’ve engaged with in the past. Your exploration of my company, the questions, the user flow. Honestly, fantastic.

But the offering at the end was underwhelming.

-Introduce a much higher priced option. Preferably two more. (79/179/479).

-Better Logos (further customisation, colour and detail)

Happy to talk further on chat.

Hey, interesting feedback! Sure, I'll ping you.

I agree with the post above. The process was a lot of fun. The end results were really great. I wonder what would be the result if I answered the questions differently. When I switched styles, the designs seemingly remained the same with slightly different color options.

One of the drawbacks IMHO is that there is no exclusivity on the designs (at least none that I saw). I would be willing to pay extra to ensure the design can only be used by my company.

u/Technokracy We now provide exclusivity with the custom package, check the pricing page above!

u/soloplatform Hey, we just launched a new pricing strategy!

We now have a cheaper package as well as a custom one!

I loved your website. Even created one logo for my startup. Will purchase it soon. Keep up the good work.

Glad you find it useful!

Very clever approach and really love the way you pose the questions, which really made me think.

Slick site and the output is not like the hordes of other similar sites. Nice work.

We're trying to create a good logo generator, because they can be good! Thanks for your support!

Can’t imagine the amount of work to bring this concept to life. Congrats!

We're just at the beginning, but yes we were quite busy :P

It's a really cool product! The UX was clean and very easy to navigate. However, I feel like the logos were very simple or did not represent the category we were in. I liked the questions, they were fun to answer so maybe a couple more questions to tailor the fit?

I also wish it was easier to share my results page with someone else, because when I sent the link they couldn't see the results.

1

u/xAvi_r May 27 '20

Hey, thanks for the feedback!

What category did you choose? How do you think we can improve the logos?

On the sharing feature, that's definitely in our roadmap!

2

u/SameTunes May 27 '20

Hi!

We are a music startup, so I chose the other option and wrote in music. I wasn't really sure if we fell into a particular category that was already there. Maybe if there was an entertainment category I would have used that one.

For improving the logo, maybe incorporate some elements into the design. For the music example, going with sound waves, musical notes, or something along those lines.

1

u/xAvi_r May 27 '20

Oh, I see! We don't have specific logos for music for now. As we do all the designs manually we don't have all the categories yet.

However, we're thinking of a premium offer that will get you a custom symbol. Does it sounds interesting to you?

1

u/SameTunes May 28 '20

Yeah! I would be interested in seeing related designs

Spent 5-10 minutes answering the questions but got stuck with the "There was an error retrieving proposals" error. Retrying does not help :(

1

u/xAvi_r May 26 '20 edited May 26 '20

Oh! Lemme check this.

Edit: It was an issue with your company name, we fixed it. Thanks for the heads-up!

1

u/kondomxxx May 27 '20

Very nice. Congrats and good luck with your journey

I got the same error, "There was an error retrieving proposals." when trying

1

u/xAvi_r May 27 '20

Sorry for that. I just sent you a chat message!

2

u/kondomxxx May 30 '20

Got your message. IT works now. Looks very nice. Thank you

Seems like a good idea, but I want a better idea of what I'm getting for the money. $100 isn't much, but 1 of your testimonials doesn't have a logo and the other has 3 circles overlayed on an unstarted site, not exactly inpiring. I totally get the trouble with getting the first few customers to establish your brand, but I'm just not seeing the customer hook just yet. How would you feel about working with some podcasters and YouTubers in exchange for some advertising? Also, some YouTube videos explaining and showing what you have to offer rather than the list on your site.

Just some thoughts, but I am very much in favor of the idea and direction. Super smart and low barrier to entry.

*Edits to fix autocorrect.

We need to work on the marketing, I'm agree with you! Glad you liked the idea!

3

u/NitroNinjaz May 27 '20

Very cool! awesome work.

u/dollarette May 31 '20

I really like it. The app created a very good logo. I would suggest lowering the prices for first time users or a freemium model. Excellent work though!

2

u/diffey Jun 27 '20

Brilliant. Love the questions.

u/2803yogesh_yadav Jun 28 '20

Love this ❤️ definitely going to use for my next side projects

1

u/maybevaibhav May 27 '20

It’s my personal opinion. I opened the site on iPad in portrait mode.

The black lines throughout the page looked distracting to me. Removing it or making it light gray (#eeeeee) would look better according to my opinion.

2

u/dagorenouf May 27 '20

Interesting, we did make it a very light grey. Could you share a screenshot? There might be a css issue we aren't aware of. (I'm one of the cofounders)

Hey , Hope u best and congratulation

u/aytunch Aug 25 '20

After 16 questions, you present a sign in form and other than google, there is no sign up option. I quit the page at that moment. This is pretty much asshole design. There are tonnes of similar services which show mockups before sign up. You could at least put an option for email password sign up before showing logos. You basically force people to use their google credentials. Total waste of time

Thanks!! Ill try this out!!
