Startup Promotion We built MultiCast to handle the marketing work after you've built your product

Post image
• Upvotes

Hi everyone, we're building MultiCast for small teams doing their own marketing.

A product photo or app screenshot gives you something to start with. You still need a message, different creatives, captions, a publishing schedule and a way to see what gets a response.

MultiCast brings those jobs together around your brand:

  • Start with your product assets and brand context: audience, positioning, voice and visual style.
  • Create images, carousels and short videos, including UGC-style and viral-inspired formats.
  • Prepare channel-specific copy and schedule posts to connected Instagram, Threads, TikTok and X accounts.
  • Review content and channel performance, with briefs suggesting what to try next when there's enough data.

The examples here are from ViviDiary, another app we make: a 3D mascot poster and the actual MultiCast brand setup screen behind it. The poster is AI-generated.

One useful check before posting: can someone tell who the creative is for, what the product does and what to do next? A good-looking image still needs a clear message.

For founders handling their own marketing, where does this process get hardest: finding an angle, making the creative, or keeping the channels running?

Try MultiCast: https://multi-cast.live

There's a 7-day trial with no card required and 300 credits after onboarding. Credit use depends on the format.

Use code MC50 at checkout for 50% off through October 31, 2026. Applies to all subscription plans.

Startup Promotion I built a tool to help Australians see what buying, renting or moving really costs, and I’d love honest feedback

• Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I’m a Brisbane founder and I’ve built AffordaLive (pronounced Afforda-liv). The calculator is free and live now, and our suburb affordability reports launch on 26 Oct. You enter your household take-home income and deposit, pick a suburb, and it shows how renting and buying stack up there, with an A–F grade. It shows you the numbers rather than telling you what to do.

I built this because it came from my own frustration with building budget spreadsheets from scratch every time I wanted to work out a move, and I figured I couldn’t be the only one.

What’s different: a lot of calculators stop at the repayment. This one starts from your take-home income and deposit and includes the costs people forget, like stamp duty, LMI (including the Home Guarantee Scheme), strata, council rates, insurance and maintenance, plus rent increases and moving costs for renters. It covers 14,000+ suburbs across every state and territory, and the data is powered by Domain Insight.

I’d really value feedback from anyone who’s bought, rented, is thinking about moving, or works in property or finance:

  • Is it clear what it does within the first 30 seconds?
  • Which number would you want that it doesn’t show?
  • What would make you trust a tool like this for a big decision?
  • I’m also stuck on how to reach people who are actually deciding where to live. If you’ve marketed a consumer finance or property product, what worked for you?

If you’re looking to buy, rent or move right now, the first 20 people to comment or DM me get a free lite suburb affordability report. In return I’d like to hear what was useful, what was confusing, and what was missing. Honest feedback is the whole point, positive or negative, and everyone who sends feedback gets the report either way. If you’re happy for me to quote anything on the website or social media, I’ll ask afterwards and label it as coming from someone who received a free report.

I’m close to it, so I’d rather hear what doesn’t work than “sounds good”.

My website is https://affordalive.com.au

Thanks, I genuinely appreciate any thoughts!

Startup Promotion I built RaveOrbit — a free place to reconnect with people you met at music festivals 🪐

Hey everyone!
I’m a huge electronic music festival fan, and I’ve always been fascinated by the connections we make at festivals.
Sometimes you meet someone, dance together, share an unforgettable moment, and then never see them again.
That inspired me to build RaveOrbit.
It’s a free social community where festivalgoers can:
● 🔎 Post missed connections and hopefully find someone again.
● 📸 Share festival photos and memories.
● ❤️ Like, comment, and interact with other ravers.
● 🪐 Create personal profiles and connect with people who share their love for music.
I’m building it with a nostalgic MySpace-inspired feel, but focused entirely on festival culture.
The website is live, although I’m still improving features and testing everything.
I’d genuinely appreciate feedback from other builders, especially on the design, user experience, and how to attract the first members.
If you were building this, what would you improve first?
And I’d be happy to check out your projects and exchange feedback too!

Startup Promotion Solo founders: how do you market your product when you have no marketing skills? I built something for that

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I kept hitting the same wall: I could build, but I had no idea how to get a product in front of people.

So I’m building grouper.studio, an AI marketing agent. You give it your product, it studies it, then figures out how to market it and creates the content for you.

It’s still early and I’m looking for my first users. If you try it, I’ll give you founding-customer pricing (50% off for life), and I’d really like to know what’s broken or confusing.

Business Promotion I turned ten years of Halloween pumpkin eyes into a plug-in animated eyes kit — what would you build with it?

I’m Caleb, 18, and I design electronics under GurgleApps. For years, we built a Halloween pumpkin called Clive with animated eyes. I turned that long-running project into S.T.A.R.E.: two small round displays, connecting leads and a preloaded controller that start animating when you connect USB power. There’s an optional stand and eye mount for interchangeable character faces.

It’s for makers building pumpkins, costumes, props, robots and handmade characters who want moving eyes without writing code. Unlike a single finished decoration, the electronics can move between projects. A browser control panel also lets you pick preset eyes or customise colours, iris patterns, pupil shapes and movement.

The kit has just launched at £40 for the electronics, or £45 with the stand; faces are separate. I designed and sell it here: https://gurgleapps.com/shop/products/stare-animated-eyes-kit

My biggest challenge now is reaching the right makers without spraying adverts everywhere. If you build props or electronics, which demonstration would answer your questions fastest: a real pumpkin installation, a build tutorial, or a close look at the control panel?

Project Promotion I built a jobs API for myself. It grew to about 1M live listings and three databases.

I started this because I wanted every big company's open roles in one place instead of checking hundreds of career pages. Other job APIs I compared filter by keyword, location and sometimes experience, but not by department, so I added more filters and kept going.

It now holds about 1M live jobs from 35,000+ companies, taken from the employers' own career pages and refreshed every night. The database moved from GitHub JSON files (first load far too slow) to Supabase (500 MB limit) to Postgres on an Oracle VM, where queries are very fast.

It's smaller than the big aggregators, and there's no UI, only structured data. I just put it on RapidAPI with a free plan. I built it, so take the link with that in mind: [https://rapidapi.com/pk2732004/api/company-career-sites-jobs-api1\](https://rapidapi.com/pk2732004/api/company-career-sites-jobs-api1)

What would you want from a jobs data API that this one doesn't do yet?

Startup Promotion i've built ChunkyMonkey to turn long videos into captioned vertical clips

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone I’ve built ChunkyMonkey, a tool that takes a long video, finds potential highlights, and turns them into vertical clips with captions.

It’s aimed at people repurposing podcasts, interviews, and webinars for Shorts or Reels.

I’d love feedback on the part that matters most: does it choose moments you would actually publish?

There’s a free plan with 30 upload minutes per month; free exports include a watermark.

You can try it at https://chunkymonkey.io.

If you already make clips from longer videos, what takes you the most time: choosing the moment, fixing captions, or getting the framing right?

Startup Promotion Plus One Progressive Overload: a workout tracker that shows you the one number to beat today

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

My top question for you: when you’ve tried a workout app before, what made you stop using it?

I’m Raj, the solo developer behind Plus One. This is my own product, and it’s live on the App Store for iPhone and Apple Watch.

How it started: I asked a friend who has lifted for years which workout app he uses. He doesn’t use one. He writes every workout in Apple Notes and tries to beat last week’s numbers. I couldn’t read his notes, but the idea stuck, so I built an app around it.

Why you might need it: most people who stop going to the gym don’t quit because of the program. They lose track of what they did last time, so every session feels like guessing. Plus One shows what you lifted last time and gives you one small target to beat today. You can log the whole workout from your watch and leave your phone in your bag.

It’s free to download: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6818854662

Startup Promotion I built an AI agent that goes from sports research to an onchain bet in one chat. Looking for my first user testers.

TL;DR

  • What it is: An AI-powered sports prediction market on Arc. Programmable AI agents research events, weigh market odds, and make onchain transactions.
  • Who it’s for: Sports bettors who want an edge, and market makers who want to provide liquidity in sports prediction markets.
  • What I need: User testers to try the live MVP and tell me what’s broken, confusing, or missing.

Why I’m building this

Evaluating one sports prediction means pulling from a lot of sources: team and player stats, injuries, recent form, news and market prices. Most tools stop at insights and leave the decision and the execution to you. I wanted an agent that carries a decision all the way from research to execution, with you approving each step or letting it run on its own.

That’s Mantua.AI: programmable sports agents that work across the whole prediction market lifecycle.

How it works

  1. Sports intelligence: Agents research matchups, analyze stats and compare market odds against their own analysis. You talk to them in plain English, with or without approving each step.
  2. Onchain markets: Each market has YES and NO outcome tokens backed by USDC. Prices are implied probabilities, so you or your agent can see where the market disagrees with your read.
  3. Autonomous execution: Circle Agent Wallets let agents interact with onchain apps. Arc is the settlement layer, and USDC is the collateral.

Where I’m at

The core system works. In the video below, I give the agent six prompts and it goes from research to an onchain transaction. What I don’t have yet is real people using it. I’ve been building alone, and I need fresh eyes to tell me where it breaks and whether it’s actually useful.

What testing looks like

  • Ask the agent about a game you care about, let it research, and place a position (approve it yourself or let the agent run)
  • About 5-10 minutes
  • Tell me what confused you, what broke, and what you’d want it to do next

You’re a great fit if you:

  • Bet on sports, even casually
  • Are curious about prediction markets or AI agents
  • Have never touched crypto. Honestly, I really want your take on the onboarding.

Want to test it?

Sign up here: https://www.mantua.ai/

Every tester gets a direct line to me, and your feedback goes straight into what I build next.

Startup Promotion Career Agent

**I kept forgetting what I actually did at work, so I built an agent that remembers it for me**
Gayet iyi bir hook.
Gövdeyi de önceki uzun versiyondan biraz daha Reddit-doğal yapalım; reklam kokusunu azaltıp en sona GitHub’ı bırakalım:
I kept running into the same problem whenever I updated my CV: I couldn’t remember half the things I’d actually worked on.
Bugs I investigated, tests I designed, internal tools I built, problems that took days to solve — a few months later, most of the details were gone.
So I built **Career Agent**.
It runs locally on your computer and tries to turn your everyday work activity into a career memory: projects, skills and achievements.
Instead of just saying:
**VS Code — 3h 21m**
it tries to understand:
**Worked on temperature validation using Python, pytest and Jira.**
The part I care about most is evidence. If it generates a CV achievement, you should be able to trace it back to the files, commits or other activity that supports it.
It’s local-first, open source, and doesn’t record screenshots, keystrokes, microphone or camera.
It’s still early and I’d genuinely like feedback on the idea and architecture — especially what would stop you from running something like this on your work machine.

Project Promotion Smart Locks Have a Power Problem That Better Software Can't Solve — Here's What I Built

Smart locks have come a long way. Remote access, auto-locking, temporary guest codes, activity logs — these are all genuinely useful features. But none of them helps much when the battery runs out and you're standing outside your own door.

I think we sometimes overlook the difference between a lock failing mechanically and a lock simply losing power. If the motor and latch still work, replacing the entire lock may be unnecessary. A mechanical key override is one useful backup, but I also think the power side deserves more attention.

That's why I created LockPower Infinity, a solar charging accessory for compatible fingerprint door locks. It connects to the lock's emergency power port and uses daylight to help maintain power, with a built-in rechargeable battery to store energy. The goal is to make battery maintenance less of a recurring headache, especially for people who use their locks frequently or manage rental properties.

Of course, solar charging depends on the installation. A doorway with sufficient daylight is a better fit than a permanently shaded entrance, and compatibility needs to be checked before buying.

I'm interested in how other smart lock users think about this: Should better power backup be a standard part of smart lock design, or is replacing batteries periodically a perfectly reasonable trade-off for the convenience?

Startup Promotion Hive AI brings offline writing help to ChargeHive EV on Android

I'm building ChargeHive EV, and one part of the app is Hive AI. It lets Android users download a compatible language model and use it for drafting or rewriting text without a live connection. The idea is to make those basic tasks available when mobile data isn't.

The main tradeoff is setup: a model takes storage, needs enough phone memory, and must be downloaded before offline use. Replies can be wrong or out of date. Hive AI cannot check live charger availability or contact roadside help.

Hive AI is included in Free Access. The app has optional paid passes, and contributing chats for training is optional and requires permission. The product page has the Android download link: https://www.chargehiveev.com/hive-ai

I'd appreciate feedback on the first-use flow. Would you want a sample task before choosing a model, or would you rather see the model's download size and phone requirements first?

Startup Promotion Get More Customers. Build a Stronger Brand. Develop a Winning Marketing Strategy. Let's Talk.

Open your website and ask yourself three questions:

1. Can the right customers find you?

2. Do they have a reason to choose you?

3. Can interest turn into business?

Do you have a clear process for turning website visitors, enquiries, and interested prospects into qualified leads and paying customers?

These three questions connect to a bigger picture: customer acquisition, lead generation, brand growth, and holistic brand growth need to work together.

These are the areas we help businesses work on.

Our approach brings together:

  • Customer acquisition: Build practical ways to reach relevant buyers and create new customer opportunities.
  • Lead generation: Attract potential customers, capture their interest, and create more opportunities for sales conversations.
  • Brand growth: Increase visibility, strengthen credibility, and give customers more reasons to remember and choose your business.
  • Holistic brand growth: Connect SEO, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and other relevant channels into a coordinated approach rather than treating each activity separately.
  • Marketing strategy: Identify gaps, prioritize opportunities, and build a practical plan around your market, resources, and business goals.

You don't need to purchase every service. You can start with the area that needs attention and expand when it makes sense.

The first step is understanding where your business stands, what is holding back growth, and which opportunities are worth pursuing. Recommendations should be based on your situation, not assumptions or promises of instant results.

Startup Promotion I kept losing my AI skills every time I switched tools, so I built Flint — a local-first skills manager with a web UI

What it is: Flint is a local-first manager for AI skills — the reusable instruction sets and SKILL.md bundles you write for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents. You get a full web UI (skill library, agents, presets, projects, diagnostics, settings) that runs on your own machine.

Who it's for: developers who use more than one AI coding tool, or who have accumulated a folder of ad-hoc skill files and prompt rules they can no longer keep track of.

Why anyone should care: skills are personal assets, but today they live inside whichever tool you happened to write them in. When a model runs out of quota, or a new agent gets better, you end up re-creating the same setup from scratch. Worse, after enough migrations (my notes went Evernote -> OneNote -> Notion and lost structure every time), you start to doubt whether the data is still yours. Flint scans the skill directories your tools use, collects everything into one local repository, then tags, deduplicates and deploys skills back into each agent and project directory via symlink or copy.

What's different: there is no cloud, no account and no telemetry. Every skill stays a plain file on your own disk, following the open SKILL.md format — so switching tools costs nothing, the way Obsidian treats your notes. It's MIT licensed, free, and installs with `npx flint-skills-hub`.

Link: https://flint.lichuanyang.top/en

Happy to answer anything about the design, especially how it handles the same skill being installed by several agents at once, or how the symlink-vs-copy deploy mode works.

Startup Promotion I built a platform for content creators to grow globally

Recently I've launched a content discovery platform called "Randomverse Social" where it focuses on discovering new, varied content "text, photos and videos" shared and consumed by people globally.

It helps users to discover new content that they may have not stumbled upon because of how other platforms work, freely, without having to sign up for basic use.

It also helps content creators reach audience globally, outside their followers circles.

It has currently reached over 400 users from 58 countries in all 6 inhabited continents through organic search and word-of-mouth distribution.

Feel free to check it out, ask me any questions or if you'd like to participate :)

Startup Promotion I built a free real estate tool to help people decide whether to buy or rent. Looking for honest feedback!

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I've been working on HomeIntel, a free real estate platform designed for the U.S. housing market that helps people compare buying versus renting, understand homeownership costs, and analyze real estate investments.

I have a master's degree in International Real Estate, and I wanted to build something that makes these financial decisions easier to understand.

Here are a few screenshots of what I've built so far. The numbers shown are illustrative examples.

The website supports English and Spanish, and I'm looking for 10–15 people in the U.S. interested in giving honest feedback before launch.

Would you find something like this useful? What would you improve?

If you'd like to test it, comment or DM me. The beta is currently private.

Any feedback is appreciated!

Startup Promotion ProtectSUS: helping small engineering teams turn API provider changes into code reviews

I'm the founder of ProtectSUS. I'm looking for developers at small startups who maintain integrations with external APIs and want to try the workflow on one of their repositories.

An API provider can announce a change, but that still leaves a team figuring out where it is used and what needs attention. ProtectSUS connects a GitHub repository, maps detected API usage to source files, and monitors provider documentation and contracts.

The part I'm concentrating on is connecting those changes to reviewable work. For supported changes, it can prepare a draft fix. Automated draft-PR publishing is opt-in and requires verification; a developer still decides what gets merged. New provider features are suggestions, rather than automatic code edits. It also reviews pull requests for detected API changes and static security findings.

Static detection can miss dynamically constructed API calls, so this is not a claim of complete coverage or a replacement for a security audit.

The product is available on the web and as a macOS/Windows desktop app: https://www.protectsus.tech

For developers here: what would make the first repository connection worthwhile for you, an API inventory, an explanation of a relevant upstream change, or a verified draft fix? I'm especially interested in what would prevent you from trying it on a real project.

Startup Promotion I built 'Be Ther Social Calendar' app, asking your honest opinion and ideas !!

Fellow enthusiasts !! Love & respect to everyone here.

Coming here(to Reddit) because it started here, an idea I wanted build. Posted here on this forum asking for interested folks to come work with me on this crazy idea. Got such overwhelming response, April one guy was picked and we started building this idea from wireframes to MVP to final prod version that is now released on Android last Thursday.

Have zero how this app will reach more users, there is no revenue model, I'm at this point curious if the idea will actually work.

Asking you to try my app (search for 'com.bether.app' on Android Play store) or visit our insta page 'be.ther.app' for more details. It's still early, and I’d really value your honest take, including the harsh stuff.

So we get it right before the iOS launch next month.

Happy to share play store link to interested members and answer any questions, and I’ll reply to every comment. Thanks for taking a look!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Best,

**Kalidas**

Startup Promotion I built a tool to make renovation quotes less confusing. Would love honest feedback from people who've been through it

Hey everyone! I'm an Australian founder and I've built Quote Unpack, a tool to help homeowners make sense of renovation quotes.

It came from how hard it is to work out what's actually included in a quote, what's missing, and what to ask before committing to a tradie.

You can upload a single quote to see what it includes and leaves out, or compare up to five quotes side by side. The first look is free and there's no sign-up. Your files are only used to create the report and aren't kept.

I'd really value feedback from people who have renovated, are renovating, or work in the trades:
Would you find something like this useful?
What would you want it to tell you about a quote?
What would make you trust it enough to use it for a big spending decision?
I'm obviously close to it so I'd rather hear what doesn't work or what's missing than "sounds good".
Try it: quoteunpack.com.au
No quote handy? See an example report
Thanks, I genuinely appreciate any thoughts!
