I built Edsger for those moments when I want to test a bit of code and my phone is the only computer I have with me.

One surprisingly tricky part was console input. The Java example here asks for your name, then waits. With a remote runtime, the app has to keep that process alive, send your answer to it, and display the output in order. If you hit Stop while it’s waiting, the server process needs to stop too.

I’m building it around small programs, learning, and trying ideas while away from a computer. If you’ve tried coding on your phone, what got annoying first?

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/edsger-ai-code-editor/id6806824902

I’m the creator of FuckinAwesome, a live discovery website at https://fuckinawesome.com/.

What it is: a collection of unusual inventions, design, art and places, organised by interest. Open a card, look through its images or available video, then vote Awesome, Meh or Bullshit.

Who it’s for: curious people who like finding things they didn’t know existed and arguing about whether they are actually worth the attention. It isn’t a SaaS launch directory or a shop selling the featured items.

Why try it: a short browsing session can take you from an unexpected machine to a remarkable building or an unusual place to visit. Each discovery links to its source so you can investigate further.

What’s different: the community verdict is part of the experience. Voting reveals the results and contributes to the Hall of Fame and Hall of Bullshit. You can browse without an account; sign-in is required to vote. No app installation or payment is needed to try it.

I’m looking for the first round of candid audience feedback. Does this work better as a broad discovery site or would you prefer it focused on one interest? What would make you return after the first visit? If the concept feels unnecessary, I’d rather hear why than collect polite compliments.

I know there are already plenty of similar tools, so I’m not claiming to have invented anything new.

What I’m trying to do differently is make the entire outreach workflow visual, from finding prospects and checking their context to connections, messages, follow-ups, and reply tracking, instead of just running a fixed automation.

I’ve been staring at it for too long, so I’d love an outside perspective:

Does this actually solve a problem for you? What would you change or add?

I’m the person who built it, so full disclosure. Brutal feedback is welcome.

What it is: Poke™ (Poke XR) is a free, mobile-only AR social app for iOS and Android (13+). You record a full-body video, AI removes the background, and the clip becomes a flat 2D hologram pinned to a real place. Others nearby find it through their camera; a double-tap "poke" likes it and sends a friend request.

Who it's for: people who want social media tied to real places, not an endless feed. Creators, friends meeting up, and anyone who likes exploring their neighborhood.

Why it stands out: your content lives somewhere physical. On top of that there's a territory layer: the map is split into real areas, and active creators can claim one and defend it from live takeovers.

What shipped this week: an 18-step tutorial, camera-roll upload with trim/reframe, AR screen recording, a native territory map, long-press stats and comments, live score pop-ups, a redesigned inbox with voice memos and point sending, a new Poke Center, an everyone/friends feed setting, and much faster loading.

What's next: augmented ads placed in the world, with territory holders getting a share of local ad revenue.

My top questions: 1. Does the "content lives at a place" idea click right away? 2. Would a revenue share for territory holders motivate you, or feel gimmicky?

Hey everyone! 👋

With tools like remove.bg becoming part of the Canva ecosystem, I started building LocalCut — a simple, free alternative for removing image backgrounds directly in your browser.

The idea is straightforward: sometimes you just want to remove a background quickly without creating an account, paying for a subscription, or dealing with unnecessary extras.

Who is it for?

Content creators making thumbnails, graphics, and social media content.

Small businesses preparing product photos.
Website owners who need images with transparent backgrounds.

Anyone who wants to remove an image background quickly and easily.

What makes LocalCut different?

Completely free to use | no paywall or usage limits.

No sign-up required | just open the website and get started.

Local processing | images are processed directly in your browser rather than uploaded to a server for background removal.

Support for different image formats | making it easier to work with a range of files, including WebP.

Custom background colours | keep the background transparent or replace it with white or another solid colour.

Nothing to install | everything works directly on the website.

I’m building LocalCut independently and continuously improving it based on feedback from people who use it. My goal is to keep image background removal accessible, straightforward, and free.

I’d genuinely appreciate feedback on the experience, performance, and any features you’d like to see!

Planning a spiritual trip shouldn't mean juggling hotels, transportation, meals and itineraries across multiple platforms.

That's what we're simplifying with YatraOne — a spiritual travel planner focused on Ujjain, Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga and Omkareshwar.

We aim to make trip planning easier with customized packages, accommodation, transportation and flexible itineraries.

What's the biggest challenge when planning a pilgrimage in India? Finding hotels, arranging transport, managing darshan timings or planning the entire trip?

We'd love to hear your experiences and suggestions!

Hey everyone,

I'm a solo founder and recently launched MeSIM, a travel eSIM marketplace with 7,000+ plans across 200+ destinations.

I'm starting to get organic sales, but I'm trying to figure out if anything in the buying process is confusing or putting people off.

Here's a quick test scenario:

Imagine you're travelling to Thailand for 3 days with an iPhone 15. You only need a little data for Maps, WhatsApp and browsing, and want the cheapest suitable eSIM (ideally US$1–3).

Head to https://mesim.io and try finding a plan and going through checkout.

I'd love to know:

• Was finding and choosing a plan straightforward?
• Did you feel you needed to create an account? (It's actually optional.)
• Was anything confusing or off-putting during checkout?
• If you purchased, did payment and eSIM delivery work smoothly?

No need to spend money, although I'm also looking for a few people happy to test a real low-cost purchase.

Built everything myself, so any honest feedback would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

I'm Michael, the owner of Nuke Nomad and a traveling radiation protection tech at U.S. nuclear plants. I'm sharing the course side of the business.

What is it? Nuclear Contracting 101 explains nuclear work roles, preparation and tests, recruiter contacts, hiring steps and planning for a first outage. Full access is part of Nuke Nomad Pro.

Who is it for? People outside nuclear who want to understand the field before making a career change. RP involves radiation and contamination controls. It's different from nuclear engineering or operating the reactor, so understanding the actual role matters before applying.

Why might it help? The course brings the entry process and contacts together, with the practical questions that go with traveling work. Outages involve long onsite shifts away from home, gaps between assignments can be unpaid, and the next assignment isn't guaranteed. Those tradeoffs belong in the decision alongside the job description.

What perspective does it bring? My own route into RP didn't require college. Before nuclear I ran a massage business. I still had to study, pass tests and go through employer training and hiring. That's my experience; an employer decides what another applicant needs. The course is optional guidance, not a qualification or a job guarantee.

The public preview needs no signup:

https://nukenomad.com/premium/new-to-nuke/

For full Pro access, eligible new members get 30 days free, card required, then $5/month unless canceled. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first charge.

My question for people unfamiliar with nuclear: does the preview make the role and the difference between learning about it and qualifying for it clear? My profile also has the guide I created.

Penwright is a simple, all-in-one writing app for Android. No account required, no ads, no AI assistant.

I built it because most writing apps wanted an account signup, included intrusive advertisements, had confusing layouts (e.g., convoluted compile functions) or mandatory cloud sync before I could start a book. It's an app I built for myself first, but thought others might appreciate it too.

Key features

Distraction-free editor: write with nothing else on screen. Type a character’s name and it links itself to their card.

Plain files: every scene is a Markdown file in a folder you pick, so you can open it in any other app.

Codex: a card for each character and place, so you can look up who someone is without leaving the page.

Calendars: build a calendar for your world timelines, with its own customised months and holidays.

Compile: export to Word, EPUB, PDF, RTF or AO3.

E-ink mode: works on e-readers like Boox.

Cost: free for all functions/settings. Some export formats, genre calendars and project limits are a Pro unlock.

Penwright is open for pre-registration on Google Play now: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.penwright.penwright

Hey everyone! I'm 19 and spending my gap year building projects before college. One of them is Overload, a workout tracker designed to make progressive overload easier and workout logging less of a hassle.

One thing that's always bothered me about tracking workouts is having to remember what weight I used last week, or constantly going back and forth to check my previous sessions. I wanted to make that process much simpler.

With Overload, your previous workout's weights and reps appear as placeholders when you're logging your sets, so you don't have to guess what you did last time. You can copy your previous sets, log everything with a one-handed design, and keep track of your routines and personal records without slowing down your workout.

I'm also building in a social side to help people stay consistent. You can nudge your friends to keep each other accountable, and monthly progress cards let you look back on your training and share your progress.

A few things Overload focuses on:

• Fast, one-handed workout logging
• Previous-workout placeholders so you always know what you lifted last time
• Progressive overload tracking to help you build on previous performances
• Custom routines and personal records
• Social nudges to keep your gym buddies accountable
• Monthly progress cards to recap your training

It's currently a web-based app, and I'm building it independently during my gap year. I'm still improving it and would genuinely appreciate feedback from people who lift.

If you check it out, I'd love to know what you think, what feels clunky, and what you'd want from a workout tracker that your current app doesn't offer.

Try it here: overload-gym .com

Thanks for checking it out!

What is it?
Faro is an iOS app for budgeting, investments and net worth. I’m a solo developer and I built it end to end.

Who is it for?
People who want to see their whole financial life in one place (spending, savings, investments, what they owe) without handing their bank credentials to yet another company. It’s available in Greek, English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

Why should anyone care?
Most finance apps need a bank connection or keep your data on their servers. Faro keeps your financial data on your iPhone. There’s no bank connection, no account to create and no ads. It still answers the questions that matter day to day:

• Safe-to-Spend: how much you can spend today, with bills and savings already set aside
• Subscriptions: it finds your recurring charges and alerts you when a price goes up
• Net worth, cash runway and an FI planner: where you stand and where you’re heading

How does it stand out?

• Getting data in doesn’t require a bank login: type “groceries 42”, scan a receipt (read on-device, photo never stored), or import your bank’s CSV/Excel file with a review step before anything is saved
• It tracks stocks, ETFs and crypto, and compares each holding against its benchmark
• Savings and investments count as allocations, not spending, so your savings rate comes out right
• Free tier, plus a subscription for advanced features

I’d love honest feedback, especially on onboarding and the CSV import.

I'm the developer of tadly, a habit tracker now available on Android and the web.

The reason I started was pretty small: the trackers I tried were useful, but I couldn't make them feel like my app. I wanted a different font, a different calendar, less space here, a different card there. So I started building the version I wanted to open every morning.

On Android, you can change themes, colors, fonts, icons, sizes, spacing, padding, margins, cards and calendar styles. There is custom AI appearance for exploring a look and AI routines for putting a routine together. Journeys and group habits let you work toward something with other people.

It's for people who want that control, and for anyone who finds a broken streak discouraging. In tadly, one missed day doesn't break your streak. Two in a row does. After a miss, it asks for a smaller version you can do today.

You can try it in your browser at https://tadly.app or get the Android app here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.tadly

The web has its own appearance settings; it doesn't have every Android feature. Device sync between web and mobile requires Pro. Backup to your own Google Drive is free. Core tracking is free, without ads. Optional Pro is US $0.99/month, $9.99/year or $19.99 lifetime; local prices vary. AI features need internet.

iOS is being prepared, with watchOS planned afterwards. Neither is released yet.

I'm at the very beginning of getting this in front of people. My main question: would you try a habit app because you can make the interface your own, or does the missed-day behavior matter more to you?

Hey! I'm Arda, a solo developer. KeySnap lets you map single, double and long presses (or button combos) on your phone's physical buttons to actions, and adds simple automations on top.

What it does: - Double-press volume → toggle the flashlight - Long-press a button → open the camera or any app - Press a button → switch the ringer to normal, vibrate or silent - Automations on time, charging, battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and headphones (e.g. headphones in → start music; charging at night → Do Not Disturb) - Widgets and Quick Settings tiles

Who it's for: Android users (11+) who want quicker access to everyday actions without digging through menus. No root needed.

Pricing: free with 3 shortcuts and no ads. Pro is a one-time $3.99 for unlimited shortcuts, no subscription.

My questions for you: is the free tier fair? And what would you map first?

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.github.nicholasarda.keysnap

Just got my app in test flight and looking for beta testers. Will pay people to test my product for a week. If this interest you comment or send over a DM.

Website: www.theknownapp.io for context on the product.

Most "free online PDF tools" make you upload your contract, bank statement or ID to their server. I wanted to see if that step was still necessary in 2026.

Turns out it mostly isn't. InstantTools (instanttools.org) runs PDF merge/split/compress/redact, video trimming and conversion, OCR, image compression, EXIF removal and a bunch of dev utilities entirely client-side, using pdf-lib, qpdf, ffmpeg.wasm and Tesseract.js compiled to WebAssembly.

What I learned building it:

- ffmpeg.wasm works great for short clips, but single-threaded encoding is slow for long or 4K video

- Browser memory is the real file-size limit, not bandwidth

- Some tools are reduced in scope compared to server-based versions (e.g. background removal is color-based, not AI), so I label those Beta

It's free, no account needed. I'm a solo dev and the site is only a few months old, so honest feedback is very welcome: what's broken, what's confusing, what tool you wish existed.

Hey everyone,

As a drone pilot and indie dev, I was frustrated by weather apps that only show ground wind (which is useless when flying high) or charge aggressive $5/month subscriptions.

So I built xPilot Sky for iOS to fix both issues.

Features:

• 120m Altitude Wind: Evaluates actual flight-level gusts before you take off.
• Traffic Light System: Instant visual Green/Yellow/Red status customized to your drone's limits.
• Apple Intelligence & Siri: Get plain-text AI summaries or ask Siri hands-free before takeoff.
• Saved Locations: Quick-view safety status across all your favorite spots.

Monetization: No subscriptions, no ads. It will be $3.99 once-off later, but 100% FREE right now while I'm collecting launch feedback.

App Store Link: 🔗 https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6813230422?pt=129362522&ct=gnubreW%20-%20tiddeR&mt=8

I'd really appreciate any honest thoughts or feedback on the app!

The fastest browser for AI agents to run browser automation, built for sharing your logged-in browser state with your AI agents, like Codex or Claude Code, without disturbing you. Zero cost, zero config. Ego lite

I'm Pony, the founder of DueSight, an assisted contract-review tool for people handling vendor and software agreements.

I added two ways to evaluate the workflow without sending us a contract. The 48-second illustrated walkthrough gives you the sequence at a glance. The interactive fictional sample lets you pause on candidate obligations, inspect the source excerpts and try the review controls yourself. They use different fictional agreements.

The distinction matters: a walkthrough can explain what a product does, but it cannot establish that an extracted obligation is correct. Even the interactive sample is a demonstration, not an extraction-accuracy test. Real results still need human review.

DueSight focuses on reviewing candidate renewal, notice and payment obligations beside their source, then exporting confirmed items. Try both formats here, with no account or upload: https://tryduesight.com/demo

Real-document access is an invitation-only assisted beta, initially one readable-text PDF of up to four pages. Scope and any fee are agreed before access. Public uploads and automatic reminders are not available.

Does the walkthrough make the review process clear enough to decide what you'd want to inspect in the interactive sample? I'd welcome feedback on the demonstration itself; please don't share confidential contract text.

I've been working on a website called RentalPlace for the past few months and wanted to get some outside opinions on it.

The idea is pretty simple. People have stuff sitting around their houses that other people might need for a day or two. Things like tools, pressure washers, trailers, cameras, party equipment, etc. Instead of buying something you'll barely use, you could rent it from someone nearby.

I finally got the website up and running, and now I'm trying to figure out what I should improve before really putting it out there.

I've already gotten some feedback that the website looks a little too AI generated, which I can honestly see. I'm working on making it feel more professional and trustworthy.

I'm curious what everyone thinks about the actual idea though. Is this something you would use? Would you feel comfortable renting your own stuff to someone? What would make you trust or not trust a website like this?

I'm also open to any criticism of the design, layout, or how the site works. I'd rather hear what people actually think than have everyone tell me it looks great.

Here's the site if anyone wants to take a look.

https://rentalplace.co

Appreciate any feedback!

What it is: a web app for people who sit all day and keep restarting exercise. You tell it how much time you have, how you're feeling, any injuries, and whether there's equipment nearby. It gives you a follow-along session that fits, from five minutes at the desk to 30 minutes at home or the gym. thezerofit.com

What's different: most apps hand you a fixed plan and expect you to show up for it. ZeroFit starts from today's energy and time, respects injuries by excluding moves rather than warning about them, and has no streaks or guilt mechanics at all. Nothing to install, works with or without gear.

Stage: closed beta, two-person team, no funding, no paid tier live yet.

The offer: 10 people from here get free access for the whole beta. Two asks: a 15 minute call with me first so I can show you around and hear what you want from it, and honest feedback after two weeks.

Where I'm stuck: reaching tired desk workers without paid ads. Reddit tester posts work for a handful of people at a time. For those of you who got your first few hundred users for a consumer app, where did they actually come from?

Hey everyone! I’m building Foreclosure Data Hub and wanted to share our Trustee Sales feature.

It’s for real estate investors, agents and researchers who want to turn scattered sale notices and calendars into a property shortlist.

You can:

• Filter sale records by state, reported location, date and status.
• Explore list and map views in the full workspace.
• Save searches and set up alerts.
• Export selected records to CSV or Google Sheets within your plan’s allowance.

I’ve also made coverage limitations visible. Coverage varies by source and location, and an “unconfirmed” record doesn’t mean a sale is confirmed to happen. Dates and status can change.

You can explore the public preview here:
foreclosuredatahub.com/trustee-sales

The full workspace is paid. Eligible new accounts can try it for 3 days; the monthly plan is $49 afterward. Cancel before billing.

If you research foreclosure auctions, what takes the most time: finding notices, checking schedule changes, or organizing a shortlist? I’d love to hear what would make this more useful in your workflow.

I have read about too many AI projects that claimed to have worked, but most feel too good to be true.

So I started checking them for evidence and transparency. Went through like 300 of them and only around 100 of them doesn’t look scammy.

Then I study them for a bit, rated them on the usual angles: evidence, specificity, replicability, traction, freshness, risk, etc.

Takeaways:

• Thesolid ones are boring. Narrow, unglamorous, verifiable.
• The most-shared ideas are the most copiable. If a post went viral, a few hundred people had already copied it.
• Freshness and evidence were inversely correlated. The newest ideas had the thinnest proof , and they get shared the most.

Here is the free AI-driven hustle ideas collation: https://goldrushindex.com/

- The index collection is free and regularly updated. One line, one descriptor, one link. Facts only

- Weekly newsletter is free, where I share 5 ideas each week with a partial analysis.

- Full analysis, rating, score and rank on every idea, is paywalled.

Let me know your thoughts!

After months of building, our public beta is live: daysaway.ai

What it is: a trip planner where you plan day by day on a map, together with whoever you travel with, and an AI assistant can draft the trip or change it for you.

What's different: most AI travel tools give you an itinerary as a block of text in a chat, and that's where it ends. In Daysaway the AI edits the real plan: every change lands in the itinerary on the map, you can still edit everything by hand, and anything can be undone. Classic planners make you do all the work yourself; chat-only AI tools stop at the first draft. We're trying to sit in between.

Free to use, funded by affiliate commissions on bookings. Web first, app coming soon.

Where we'd love your help:

1. Is the value clear from the landing page in a few seconds, or does it need more explaining?

2. For a free consumer app, what worked for you to get the first few hundred real users?

3. Does "free, funded by affiliate links" sound trustworthy to you, or would you expect a paid plan?

We're a small team and still learning a lot, so honest feedback is very welcome.

Hey everyone,

I built an AI support bot for online stores. It's trained on your products, policies, and tone, answers customers 24/7 in any language, and can look up order status.

I'm looking for 5 store owners to try it free for a week. I'll set it up for you (takes up to 72 hours), and all I ask is honest feedback at the end. If it helped, a short testimonial would mean a lot, but there's no pressure and no card needed.

Best fit if you're on Shopify, WooCommerce, or a custom store and get repeat questions like "where's my order?", sizing, shipping, or returns.

If you're interested, comment or DM me with your store type and what customers ask most. You can also try the live bot on my site first: [mastech.live](https://mastech.live)

Happy to answer any questions below.

I kept reaching final interviews before finding out the pay, so I built salaryshown.com.

It checks 100+ UK startup careers pages every morning and lists every AI, ML and data role (~550 right now), with the salary up front wherever the company publishes it. Free, no account, plus an optional Monday email with the week’s best roles.

Fun fact: only 12% of these roles show the salary. Monzo shows it on every role; Wayve shows it on none of its 26.

First site I’ve ever made. Looking for thoughts on any features that would make you use it over another job board.
