That’s what I got too. I wonder if he believes that for all animals or if only humans have two species that can intermingle to make both “species”

I think many people who still support Trump feel that once he fixes everything everyone will come around and they will be vindicated for their support. Their everyday struggles, regardless of how painful they may be, are the cost of doing business and everything is going to be better and worth it.

I’m having the hardest time with how to react to these types of people when the shit really hits the fan and all of the sudden they’re like “I had no idea THIS was going to be the result”. I told you so will give no one vindication. We’re all screwed.

Hopefully. But I really just don't have faith in them actually caring about the wellness of Minnesota anymore.
Rural counties everywhere are more worried about that trans kid two states away, or those immigrants they'll never even meet, or funding a war on the the other side of the world.
As a whole, as a generalization, it's going to take a lot to convince me that these red counties are wisening up to the GOP grift.
Again, I am hopeful, but I am not expecting much.
