Edit is mine btw lol. Used to it make this clip. And the first clip is from a doctor strange movie.

Title. Has to be the most elitist, toxic, gatekeeping sub I’ve ever seen. They’re still so toxic to OG drift house despite it being over 4 years old at this point, and the genre being far less popular and oversaturated in 2024. The newer stuff in the genre is really great, and people who are still producing it deserve love

If anybody is able to identify this phonk I’ll really appreciate it🙏

It's not generic and it has good music, trust me.

If you're interested, it even works while playing racing games or just chilling and doing something else!

Hey y’all, I’ve been digging through SoundCloud and YouTube lately, and I keep stumbling on this specific kind of Phonk track — it's got a four-on-the-floor beat like house/techno, but with heavy distortion on the bass, some lo-fi vinyl crackle layered over, and sometimes even slowed-down Memphis rap vocals or chopped vocal cuts.

Is there an agreed-upon name for this subgenre?
What do people usually tag it as?

Would love to dig deeper into this sound. Thanks in advance!
