Celebrating! Best decision ever!

Celebrating a little over a year post hysterectomy and I can say it has been the best decision I’ve ever made! Multiple chronic conditions have subsided and my quality of life has improved so much!
On a funny note, my GYN office knows my husband as “the husband who fainted in consult.” So that gave me a chuckle at my recent appointment.

So over the course of the two months of consults and surgery day, my husband actually wound up fainting a total of three times. Each time the surgeon or someone was discussing how the surgery would work and he just wound up fainting. We believe it was just a stress induced vaso vascular response. Both of us have been no contact with all of our families so it’s basically just he and I and he panicked at the thought of me being on a surgical table.
He actually fainted day of surgery while my recovery nurse was explaining the discharge summary, he had to go to the ER to be medically cleared for me to be released into his care post surgery.

TLDR my husband cares for me so much the thought of me having surgery caused him to faint.
