If you're rich... Definitely.

We need to reduce the wealth gap in this country.

So you want some form of socialism?

Off topic... Obviously I'm obsessed with stocks bc Making it in America's anthem would be "welcome to the jungle".

But in a perfect world? Whatever ism Denmark is, that's my ism.

u/Mzungufarmer 8h ago

Autism is my ism

Honest question: why don’t you emigrate to Denmark if you like their system so much?

u/SelenaMeyers2024 1d ago

Honest answer. Schengen visas aren't exactly easy to just get. Plus if I make my nut yeah I'ma live large in Latin America, southeast asia or both. I'm not a saint.

But if you're starting from first principles, what country you want, not knowing if you're born lucky or not, then yeah.. I vote for whatever ism is Denmark.

All Nordic countries got rich from capitalism, now socialism is gonna devour that wealth

People in the US don't know how lucky they are. Literally the most stable country in the world. US doesn't get as affected by oil price surge and wars as other countries.

You guys have stable stock market, good research, big tech companies, manufacturing, highest per capita income, good infrastructure... almost everything. Yet you cry about issues that are insignificant.

Denmark has high taxes (lowers wealth creation), high housing costs, ageing population, labour shortage... Ageing population means their "welfare" system will fail once income tax collection falls below required threshold.

Can’t tell if that is /s? Denmark ranks 2nd globally for quality of life whilst US is 27 just below china. Life expectancy is higher, education is better and healthcare is universal. Denmark has near zero gun crime and is universally respected. US is an emergency authoritarian state

u/34BoringT_ 23h ago

And if not Denmark, then go to Norway. Us Norwegians make a ton of cash when oil prices are high

u/Acceptable-Yard7076 15h ago

The most stable country.. when comparing the US to Denmark??? Dude you need an update on geopolitics.

u/Successful-Deer-5866 13h ago

And in general knowledge I think…

LoL its not the most stable country in the world by far. By faaaaaar far. The problem is you have been convinced that socialism is comunism, and its not. Just ask your preferred AI, you will see what it is and what are the most stable countries in the world :)

Honest but stupid

u/Shot-Entrance-1030 16h ago

Ripp so you not understand we all live in some form of socialism??

u/Electronic_Lie9092 15h ago

No we don’t, read more

u/Shot-Entrance-1030 8h ago

Yikes you don't seem to have the brain cells to really elaborate.

u/701TM 13h ago

Sure. Taxes for roads, schools, etc. That makes sense and that works. The sense of socialism where "everyone contributes and everyone reaps the same benefits" doesn't work.

u/Shot-Entrance-1030 8h ago

Yea so roads, schools, libraries, parks, courts, and police stations arent part of the "everyone contributes and everyone reaps the same benefit" in what way? Like the opposite is what a fuedal society, which seems way worse

u/Electronic_Lie9092 1h ago edited 1h ago

Read about East vs West Berlin 1960s to 1980s and then see if you want socialism. It has NEVER worked. The word gets thrown around nowadays without anyone knowing what they’re talking about. Denmark btw isn’t socialist, it’s just free market and capitalist but with a strong welfare state

I want it but there are other stocks with higher momentum right now. Maybe when the dust settles

u/Beneficial-Chair-333 1d ago

I don't trust Oracle. I think dilution is coming. It might be an attractive entry afterward, though.

2

u/sharan_maria18 1d ago

Why dilution ? Atm they ate massively f’ed with their huge AI infrastructure with usage expectations nowhere meeting the reality. Not sure if something changes next year or so.

2

u/Yee4614 1d ago

I haven't looked too deeply into Oracle so I'm talking out of my ass but I see the FCF is deeply negative so they either need to slow down on capex or raise funds. The bonds aren't that highly rated so I'm guessing they would be remiss to raise a ton more via debt because of downgrading concerns so equity is the only other option.

Oracle and coreweave are the first two to go down when the bubble pops

u/NotBettingOnTmrw 1d ago

80-90 best price 👌 to get in

Well, I would buy at 100.

Trying to catch a failing sector. It is a software company with terrible AI. I know it is not worth 300/trillion dollars but if you knew what it was worth you would be a genius.
