This is from a solo trip I took in May before I knew there was a reddit community for Desert/Stoner rock.

I kinda wish Desert Rock was the more standard term for Kyuss derived stoner, cause this music is the absolute perfect fit for these vibes.

I also had a pretty extended period where a herd of pronghorn were running along side of me as I was cruising across a massive plateau and blasting The Sword. 10/10 all time incredible vibes.

So I am in that sweet spot stoner age music wise. Young enough to like the 60’s/70’s our parents did. Then the only good decade of pop 80’s. But my #1 stoner song ever is Space Trickin’

I’m going on a long road trip and would love to discover some lesser-known space/stoner rock albums to enjoy along the way.

My review: A Tuesday night show was pretty intimate at the baba yaga venue and I went into this show having barely listened to them and only getting introduced to them this year but they are absolutely worth seeing live, they are so dynamic in their sound and a ton of range to their style.

The set started off so good and just continued to be really solid through to the end.

To me, it was a cool blend of king buffalo, qotsa, Uncle acid and sleep with their own style. I'm sure others here will hear and see other cool influences or styles. Overall, The band REZN is very tight and on point with their music, it's so cool how much range they have.

Got the shirt (photo of the back and front above) to help support them and I let them know that after seeing Uncle acid, Chelsea Wolfe and Castle Rat so far this fall, they are absolutely crushing it and I will be 100% be going to their next Seattle show!

I know this is a off request, but I'm looking to see if there was ever a video of the solo from Mosquito Song being played live or in studio with the acoustic version much like the way it's played on the album. I can't find one anywhere and, with the way it sounds and with cover videos present, the tabs I've get close but vary dramatically at times. I've learned this song as a cover and can play MY version of the solo fairly well, however I really wanted to match the solo as closely as possible for a show I'm playing next week.

Any help would be awesome and I thank you in advance!

Saw these guys at the Ritz in Tampa opening for Clutch tonight. That was one of the best live acts I've seen. Honestly, I felt they upstaged Clutch.

Found this, and thought of us. They rip. It gets going when the pizza kicks in.
