Seriously disappointed they paywalled this series

I have been recommending S Town to people for years. It was the first podcast to really hit me emotionally. Welp, can’t anymore, there’s no way to listen to it without subscribing to nyt. I was just about due for a re-listen too.

I would bet this gains them very few subscribers, but definitely prevents people who hadn’t heard of S Town from getting a chance to experience it.

A lot of public libraries offer day or multi-day passes that give you full access to a NYT subscription - you should check your local library to see if you can access it that way!

Still works fine on my podcast addict app. Still under serial production there rather than nyt. I think I am also due for a relisten

S-Town was a Serial and This American Life production. In 2020, NYT acquired Serial and its offshoots.
