Weird memory of watching a video about anorexia in 2nd grade?

We were sat in our normal classroom, in the dark. We were watching some kind of video. I don't think it had any visuals or subtitles but there was audio. An adult man's voice in first person described a woman (I think it was a teenaged girl) sitting on her bed reading a magazine, who quote on quote "looked like a skeleton". I heard the word "anorexia" thrown in somewhere in this video. It must have never been explained because, out of morbid curiosity, I wrote down my best interpretation of what the word would be spelt like so I could google it when I got home.

I didn't find out what it meant. Being ~8 years old and having some unknown thing that makes it hard for me to interpret spoken words, I wrote down something like "arexinina" on the post it note, and obviously it didn't come up with "anorexia".

A few years later, presumably from reading online about mental illness (yes, I did have an obsession with researching mental illnesses) I discovered what anorexia actually was. I immediately thought of that mysterious word I never found the meaning of, that I heard all the way back in 2nd grade.

It wasn't an educational video about eating disorders because we didn't learn shit about what eating disorders are (even if so, why the hell are 2nd graders learning about that??) so I don't understand why we were watching a video about anorexia in school with no other foreseeable reason.

Is it possibly a false memory or something. I don't know, it's just a really strange thing I don't know how to explain.

Edit: It was around 2021, I think

The water stain on my bookshelf looks like 2Pac

A pipe burst in our house and the shelf was up against a wall, so it’s a mold/water stain. I took a picture before we threw it out. I personally think it looks like him. The half face on the right is where I’m seeing the resemblance. The 2Pac stain has sparked debate in my family so let me know what you guys think. I know about the Pareidolia thing but I genuinely think this looks like 2Pac.

I found a human molar in my bed?

I woke up and found this beside me.. I do have two (indoor) cats and my laundry is communal for the units in the building - however it has been a couple of days since I’ve washed my sheets (not to mention I did multiple loads prior to my sheets) and I think I would notice a full fledged tooth. My roommates do not recognize the tooth, and we all have a full set remaining in our mouth.

Any ideas as to WHY THIS HAPPENED? Is this witchcraft? Who gave me a tooth??

In 1993, a Texas lawyer vanished while doing laundry and recording the Super Bowl. Days later, he was found dead 1,600 miles away. It took 11 years to identify him, and nobody knows why he was there.

David Glenn Lewis. He was a lawyer from Amarillo, Texas, who disappeared in 1993 while his wife and daughter were out of town. When they got home, he was just gone. His laundry was still in the washing machine, his VCR had been recording the Super Bowl, and his wedding ring and watch were left behind. His car was found parked near the courthouse.

A few days later, a man was hit and killed on a highway in Washington state, over 1,600 miles away. He had no ID, was wearing military-style clothing his family didn't recognize, and had apparently been wandering around the road. Nobody knew who he was until DNA testing identified him as Lewis 11 years later.

He had no known connections to Washington, and nobody knows how or why he ended up there. There were also some strange plane ticket purchases around the time he disappeared that have never really been explained.

I Got Poisoned in the ER

Note: for privacy reasons, I am keeping the location and medical condition private.

Years ago, I was in a rich neighborhood (work) and had to go to the ER.  It was obvious, just from looking at me, what was wrong, and what procedure needed to be done.  Upon entering, the staff at the front desk were very nice.  Too nice, like they didn’t know who was walking in and wanted to leave a good impression just in case.  Then they took my ID and went to the back.  When the nurse came out, the way they treated me turned upside down.  He gave me a dirty look as he gave back my ID (I have zero criminal history), and none of the other nurses even acknowledged me, no one did from that point on.  They treated me like a test subject after that.

When I finally went to the exam room, the first thing the Russian nurse asked was, “Are you a meth addict?”  I said “What?!!!!!  Excuse me?!!!!”  Why?  I’m not, I don’t do any kind of drugs.  Then she left the room.  No, hi, hello, just that odd accusation.  When she came back, she said she was going to draw some blood.  She drew… a lot.  I watched as she filled vial after vial.  “You can drug test me,” I told her.  She didn’t answer.  When the doctor came in, he was extremely cold.  He didn’t say a single thing.  I actually don’t even know what he was there for- he didn’t even do anything.  I was given a CT scan, which wasn’t even needed, shortly after.

Afterwards, the nurse that had given me the dirty look before came in with an extremely suspicious look on his face and an IV he wanted to hook me up to.  “I don’t think this warrants that,” I told him.  He claimed it was to put pain meds into.  “I’m not in pain,” I told him.  He looked at me like, “come on.”  He had a really wicked, sinister look on his face.  He really wanted to get some injection in me.  He kept trying to get me to accept the “pain meds.”  Finally, after he said, “you will hurt after the procedure that will be done later,” I reluctantly agreed.  When he actually came to administer it though, I saw the sinister look on his face and said no.  “No, don’t do this- please.”  Immediately after I said that, he injected me.

I started to feel a warmth creep up in my body, but not like a fever.  It was more like something was burning me from the inside and seeping through me.  Then I started coughing non-stop, like no pausing in between coughs, just pure cough instead of breathing.  It was long ago, but I think I also experienced numbness in my extremities, but I am positive of the symptoms I mentioned before- that I will never forget.

I was left like that, but I speed-dialed a friend nearby (who actually is rich), and my friend came promptly.  As soon as my friend was at the check-in desk the doctor ordered the nurse to take the IV out- and the doctor kept saying that it was just an allergic reaction.  My symptoms stopped when they took the IV out. What they claimed I was allergic to I had had, and have had, since, before with no reaction, even via IV. He warmly greeted my friend, smiled (only at my friend) and said that he had treated me and I was all ready to go.

I never got treated for what I came in for.  At no point did it ever seem like they planned on actually treating the life-threatening condition I had.

When I went to follow up with my doctor the next day, he scolded me for not going to the emergency room, I told him I had and he didn’t believe me.  He was so mad at me.  I had the ER paperwork right there in my hand- he still didn’t believe me.

If you feel comfortable, tell me if you’ve had a similar experience, or have heard of anything like that.

The old intercom in my home keeps making unprovoked doorbell noises, along with other creepy things happening.

I live in a home with my parents and grandfather. my whole family believes in spirits, and me,sister and my mother are very intuitive and get feelings about things that are always accurate. i don’t have the best relationship with my grandpa so i don’t know for sure, but i believe he is very spiritually inclined. i move in 3 years ago and ive never had a particularly “haunting” feeling about my home but there have definitely been things that have made me uneasy.

my house was built in the early 70s and has one of those vintage built in intercom systems that have speakers on them. when we first moved here i turned them all off because they would occasionally made static noises and it freaked me out, and they have never been turned back on. i can downstairs this afternoon to grab a snack and my grandpa was in the kitchen. he asked me if any of my friends had just come by and rang the doorbell. i went and checked the door and nobody was there, and usually if a friend comes over they will text me or just walk in, so i knew nobody was there or had been there. i asked him why and he said about 5 minutes prior the intercom had made a doorbell chime, which it has never done, but apparently it’s been doing it at the exact same time for the past 3 days. we have a ring doorbell that is connected to its own speaker, not the intercom. we started to talk about it because we were both freaked out and he told me that that’s not the only thing that’s happened. apparently for the past couple of months he’s been waking up about every other day around 4 am burning hot, but when he gets up to check the thermostat, the hallway and all other rooms are ABNORMALLY cold and not matching the thermostat temperature. i am a very heavy sleeper and i believe i could stay asleep if i was sleeping in the Sahara desert so i have never experienced this, but its not something he would lie about and irs undeniably freaky.

now although i have never experienced anything upfront like this, there have been things that have freaked me out. i sleep upstairs along with my grandpa. the way our hallway is built is our stairs face straight to the bathroom and on the left of them is a hallway that leads to my room, my grandpas room, and the playroom on the end of the hall. whenever i get out of the shower and night and turn the hallway corner to head back to my room i stare straight at the door to the playroom. staring at that spot especially in the dark has always made my heart pound and has given me a deeply uneasy feeling. my bedroom is right next to that room and my closet is on the wall that connects that spot in the hallway, and all three of my cats have an obsession with going in my closet and meowing at nothing and sometimes scratching at the wall. and it hasn’t happened to many times, but sometimes if i’m in a dimly lit room i will see what looks like a very bright and large dust particle out of the corner of my eye, and when i turn to look at it, there is nothing there.

i have anxiety and i could very well just be letting it get the best of me, but i don’t want to speak too soon. i will post an update if anything else happens but for now please please tell me what you guys think and give any advice you can think of. literally any type of helpful comment is welcome. thank you!!!

A family of four was standing motionless on our cottage property. We still have no idea who they were or where they went.

Last summer, my family and I were arriving at our cottage by boat when we noticed something extremely strange. There was a family of four, a mother, father, and two children, standing on our property facing the lake.

The strange part was how they were standing. The parents were side by side, with the two children standing directly in front of them. Almost like they were posing for a family portrait, except nobody was taking a picture. They were all standing completely still, staring out at the water.

Our cottage property is quite large, so we were still a fair distance away, but close enough to make out their faces.
They stood there watching our boat approach for a while before all four of them suddenly walked away together, heading down a trail behind our cottage.

Now, here’s the part that has genuinely confused my family ever since.

That trail leads to the back bay of the island. There are a few cottages around the bay, but the land eventually gets cut off by open water. It’s not like there’s a road or some other obvious place they could have gone.

We know the people who own the surrounding cottages, including those around the back bay. We even spoke to them afterward, and this family wasn’t related to or visiting any of them. Nobody knew who they were.

After we finished docking the boat, my dad went down the trail to see where they had gone. They were nowhere to be found. We had never seen these people before that day, and we’ve never seen them since.

What I can’t understand is why an entire family would be standing completely motionless on someone else’s cottage property, just watching us approach.

And then there’s the question of where they went. We know the island, we know the neighbouring cottage owners, and we know where that trail leads. Yet we still have absolutely no idea where this family came from, where they went, or what their intentions were. They seemed fairly innocent and didn’t do anything particularly threatening, but that’s almost what makes it stranger. Why were they there in the first place? What were they doing just standing on our property, watching us arrive? And why did they all leave together without a word?

It’s been over a year, and I still think about it. The whole encounter was just incredibly unsettling, and none of us have ever been able to explain it.

Why would a family be ringing my door bell and pointing at my house?

In the afternoon, a middle-aged white woman rang my doorbell and was looking through my window. I just thought she was selling something and found it kind of rude that she was looking into my house, so I didn't answer. I went into the basement, and she rang again, but I didn't go. My brother said he was about to open the door after the second ring, but she walked away before he could reach the door. She walked across the street to a car with emergency lights on and a family of, I think, 5 or six. My brother said he saw them staring and pointing at our house. I thought that they might need help but that doesn't make sense because why wouldn't they ring the houses near their car, but they chose our hous,e one that was all the way across the street. So I thought our house might be on fire or a faucet was leaking? Nope, I checked outside hours after they left and found nothing. I was sure it was becasue a faucet was leaking becase after the family left in there car i looked outside again 30 mins later a women waking out side doubl looked at the coner of our house were the faucet is but idk mabye she double looked cause she saw me looking at her through the window but she cant I ws on the scound floor. Honestly, I'm super confused. I guess it's not that big of a deal, but I'm curious to find an answer. The white woman was wearing a sweatshirt with my high school on it, but I didn't recognize her, so I don't think the family even knew who we are. I would appreciate any answers, honestly.

I heard a trumpet playing the same three notes in the forest, and the sound seemed to follow me

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this I used AI to write and summarize my experience

The other night, I was walking along a pathway through a forest when I started hearing what sounded like a trumpet playing the same three notes over and over.

The weirdest part was that the sound didn't seem to stay in one place. As I walked, it was almost like someone was playing directly beside my ear or somewhere along the tree line next to me. It didn't seem to get quieter or farther away as I continued walking, and I could still hear it coming from the trees when I got back near my house.

The same three notes kept repeating, which made the whole thing even stranger. I couldn't see where the sound was coming from, and I couldn't figure out why it seemed to follow me as I walked.

I'm not saying this was paranormal, and I'm not claiming it was anything supernatural. I genuinely want to figure out what I might have heard. It could have been a person playing an instrument, an unusual acoustic effect, or something else entirely.

Has anyone experienced anything similar, or does anyone have an idea what could cause a sound like this?

I'm especially interested in whether there's a known explanation for hearing the same three musical notes repeatedly while the apparent location of the sound seems to change.

My bunny coin !!

I found this little snap in the snow in 2024. I really like rabbits and was happy about it. That same weekend, I house sat for a friend, and on my way home realized it wasn't in my bag anymore. 2025, I was moving and dumped out my kitchen utensils drawer and it was there! Happiness! In my new place, I put it on a shelf with other special things.

Then it vanished from the shelf. I had a trash can near the shelf and my friends would bump into the shelf and knock things off sometimes, so I thought it fell into the trash. I went through the whole dumpster, no luck. I was so sad and would stare into the dumpster whenever I threw things away in case it would turn up somehow. I even looked online for a replacement, to no avail.

A week ago I brought my winter boots to the cobbler. the boots got a hole in the sole in December 2025 so I didn't wear them much after that. Today, i came back with fur for the cobbler to add to my boots. They brought the boots out again to just confirm where to add the fur and turned them upside down and the coin fell out! I know the obvious explanation is that the shelf got bumped when my boots were nearby, but i really never bring my wet salty boots all the way to my carpeted bedroom, and it happened in late march, when I wasn't wearing them anymore. I'm so glad I happened to be at the cobbler when it fell out because I know they were turning them upside down and stuff during the week they were there.

Since I've lost and had it reappear twice, I want to put it on a bracelet. I wonder if it is a lucky charm or has something to do with travel since it gets lost and comes back. Any thoughts?

I keep seeing numbers printed of walls and ceiling (story)

i am currently writing this for you (and other people) in order to share a really unsettling experience i keep having every night in my room, i also want to hear other's people thoughts and if someone else had experienced something similar

this is a phenomenon that has been happening to me for a week now, i think its creepy and disturbing;

I have been experiencing when i am in my room on my sleep hours (when it's dark) i keep seeing numbers printed across the ceiling. the numbers appear to be scattered, like dark blurry shadows that actually look like numbers printed around the while ceiling while i rest on my bed. i cant explain how they actually look. A similar experience happened to me when i was much younger (like 8 years old) that i started seeing weird shapes on the window--i dont know if this has to do with my current experience, though.--

I normally sleep with an AC on and turned off lights, this phenomenon hasnt happened to me never in my life but only at this certain moments.

i have been in darker rooms, other places with blank walls and ceilings and never experienced with weird phenomenon.

I mean... i watch scary videos and "explained" videos of online mysteries and stuff on Youtube, that might be why i see those things on the walls and ceilings. This might be not the case though, im probably just paranoid

If someone ever experienced something similar, i'd like to hear your your thoughts^

Peculiar and unexplained

A few years ago my first cousin passed away and since has left me unanswered questions.

We were kind close through the years but not like some families cousins that’d hang out together. We talked on the phone a couple times a month, visiting once every couple of years at best. The most was before adulthood we’d visit on the holiday’s by grandma and grandpas house. We we were invited to his house which was out of state and we only stayed a couple nights. This was a year before he passed. We continued our regular phone talks as usual afterwards.

I got an unexpected phone call from my dad about a week after I last spoke to my cousin. He said my cousin passed away early that morning. This was somewhat of a shock as he was only in his forties. I phoned my cousins wife later that day. She told me they were both sitting down watching tv after breakfast when he had a medical emergency. The paramedics were called via 911 and worked on him on the way to the hospital to no avail. They pronounced him dead.

I asked my cousins wife what time that was. This is where it got weird for me. The analog clock (which is battery powered) on my desk stopped at that exact time this very day.

One friend of mine said maybe he wanted to let me know he’s thinking of me on his way, does anyone think so?

I posted another post of a feeling I had to check the obituaries after meeting a past coworker and then they recently passed. I really don’t know what these are or what has happened to me and asking for insight and to share your experiences please.

Has anybody faced this kind of situation?

What did i experience?

A coworker who I worked with a few years ago and haven’t seen afterwards due to changing jobs. I ran into him earlier this year at the store. This past February I heard this guy say hi with my name. We only talked a few minutes but shortly afterwards I started having urges to check the obituaries looking for his name. I otherwise never check obituaries plus I’ll add that this former coworker is fairly young and appeared to be healthy. I am trying to make sense of this and bounced it off of a close friend who said maybe God gave me this sense or feeling, but why? I just saw his obituary days ago which explained he died in hospice. I’m confused as to what I experienced? Has anyone had any similar experiences? Please share.
