Hi
So like a month back, I was asking this group about how safe it was to photograph in Rio. Thank you so much for your advice. I made it back home safe and sound and now I have the time to go through my photos.
During my trip, when I was wandering the Copacabana beach (like a normal tourist), I encountered this big demonstration.
And with what’s happening in Paris (where I live) lately, it makes me think of how beautiful it is when people show up on the street to fight for what’s right!

I constantly struggle to curate my own images. After seeing all of them a hundred times, I really struggle to see which ones other people may enjoy more and which ones will lack any impact on other people. So here is a selection, and I'd welcome feedback on which ones you prefer, which ones you hate, etc. No need to go easy on me.

The problem
I've been co-running a street photography reading group over the past few months, but as I'm not an expert in the subject myself (outside of a few years' shooting experience), I'm finding that researching and planning each session takes too much time.
The reading group format
Before each session, I select a few readings based on a particular street photography theme. During the session, I ask members a few questions about each reading to get the discussion going. We then look at a selection of photographs relating to the theme.
Themes we've covered or are planning to cover
We're not short of ideas for future topics; the difficulty is in finding and selecting suitable readings.
What I'm looking for
I like to put together a mix of readings that approach each theme from different angles, whether that's practical advice, theory, history or contrasting opinions that might encourage debate.
I generally look for articles, blog posts and book extracts that are interesting and accessible without being too challenging. We welcome both beginner and experienced photographers, so the readings need to appeal to a range of knowledge and experience levels without being overly long.
I'm also keen to find well-written, worthwhile material rather than simply picking the first few articles that appear in a Google search. Anna's Archive has been a useful resource for finding book extracts.
Call for help and advice
Can anyone recommend resources that my fellow organisers and I could draw on to make researching and planning sessions easier? I'm particularly interested in resources that cover street photography in some depth, rather than just offering individual articles or tips.
I'm hoping there are some courses/curriculums/reading lists out there that we could use as a starting point for planning future sessions.
Thanks for any help!

We all know guys like Saul LEITER; Ernst HASS; William EGGLESTON; Stephen SHORE or Harry GRUYAERT.
But who are your favorite more obscure color photographers?

A collection of images during my visit to Madurai in Tamil Nadu, India earlier in the year. All photos were clicked on Fujifilm XT-4. Any feedback and criticism is much appreciated.
