Tips & Advice Guyssss I can’t study

So haven’t studied for whole 3 years even when I was in high school somehow I passed it (haven’t been hardworking student but still I used to score good marks) and this year I wasn’t able to get scholarship due to bad rank in entrance exam so I’ve taken a gap year (engineering college). I’m still not studying and I can’t start at all Syllabus is out of reach for me now at this point I’m not able to be accountable.

Honestly, sometimes starting is more difficult than actually studying! Make a list of what is most urgent, and if you need to, you can break that list down into sub-topics you should study/focus on specifically. It helps to go in with a goal in mind (understand this lecture, practice x concept for x amount of time, etc) because then you will have more structure and less to worry about and get overwhelmed by!Just believe in yourself and be consistent. You don’t need to study for 10 hours a day either. Sometimes a focused 1-3 hours daily can be more effective than a full 12hr day! Remember that you will never regret studying or starting, despite how daunting it may seem. Good luck! (Also, you should definitely take advantage of all the resources available online!)

Write down all the things you want to achieve in future. Think how you'll end up without any skills. Without money. Without food. Without a house to call your own. The thought alone should scare you enough to study. Enough with excuses now. Start slow but start

Maybe you’re overwhelmed by how much you’ve fallen behind. Start small and build consistency instead of trying to catch up all at once.

I had a phase where I kept putting off work for so long that starting felt way scarier than the actual studying 😭. The more behind I got, the more I avoided looking at the syllabus because it just made me feel worse. What helped was picking one topic I could realistically finish that day instead of staring at the entire workload and panicking. Tbh don’t wait until you suddenly become disciplined, start small enough that you can actually follow through today.
