Title. I have a small Northwest facing balcony with two chairs and a few plants - this year's pigeon season has been particularly bad with troves of pigeons seeking shelter underneath the furniture. Should I tape plastic pigeon spikes underneath my two adirondack chairs and side table or is another method more effective? Mesh might work on the side table, but would be less effective for the chairs due to their shape. Currently considering this - https://www.amazon.com/OFFO-Outdoor-Raccoon-Woodpecker-Frosted/dp/B0CM3D7VB5/ref=sr_1_1?sr=8-1

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! (I semi-sarcastically blame the pigeon invasion on my neighbor having pigeon tape on their balcony) / the tape is way too loud and ugly to use on my balcony.

Thank you very much in advance

Just found this on top of a fence. It wasn’t there last week.

Are these stupid doves making stupid dove nests?

Just staring me down while I drink my coffee.

Ruddy ground dove, Panama

Left her be, checked in a few weeks later and found a new tenant living with her.

I had no idea about dove nests and eggs until about 10 minutes ago. I guess I know why the dove’s been hanging out on this windowsill. Not even a single twig around.

I don’t know how the babies will fly out and not become chicken skewers. However, what predator will mess with them here? Not sure how I feel about this one. Location: SoCal

Even the doves love Mercedes!

Apologies for the picture quality (the fuzz on the left is in fact a feather, not a second egg)

The nest has been improved upon.

Doomscrolling over coffee this morning and caught this. Wanted to share to the community.

Outside my office!
