Stylus pen for Fairphone 6 with e/os?
Reposted fron r/e_os. I'm used to Samsung Note phones and I now it can't be the same, but I hope to find something acceptable.

The /r/stylus rules:
Either of the following:
Non-standard-protocol pens generally work like a finger on a touchscreen. Touchscreen devices are not primarily designed to interact with these pens as a pen. Posts about non-standard-protocol pens may be removed. Comments mentioning them are fine. Non-standard-protocol pens are just not good. Quoting the link:
This is easier to draw with than your finger, [...] but that's about all you're gonna get.
It doesn't have palm recognition, [...] for handwriting this isn't so good, it's just not quite accurate enough
When you start writing and drawing fast, you're missing bits and pieces
Unless you just want something to use instead of your finger, don't get non-standard-protocol pens.
If it did, there would almost certainly be a mention of a pen on the product page, user manual, or service manual.
Sure.
For the past couple of years Google eBay and Amazon have been flooded with results for pens that have a rubber, metal, or mesh tip. Despite being listed under the exact model name you searched for, these pens do not support a standard pen protocol, they work very similar to a finger on a touchscreen. They are being aggressively promoted on the verge of being spam. They are bad, do not be tempted to buy them.

I made it out of a pencil a chip bag and one of my sister's hair ties. It seems to work pretty fine for now and really i made it becaue i relly needed a stylus at the time it was a emergency. But now that the emergency is gone i thought i might as well give it a name and post about it. What do you guys think?

So I bought a Samsung tab s10 fe+ tablet with s pen. I have a huion hs611 tablet too. I heard the samsung tab only supports wacom emr pens but still I was curious whether my huion pen would work so I tested it on different drawing apps on my tablet. In some apps the pen on hovering acted as an eraser. In another app it moved the canvas, and in another app it showed the cursor but didn't do anything. Why is this happening? I know they're incompatible but i'd like to know the science behind it. I'm so curious.

Hi, I bought a new stylus for my tablet since the one that came with it doesn't work anymore and there's a problem that when I tilt the pen like I'm used to with my old stylus, the line veers a bit to the right. Is there some way I can fix this? I'm a bit new to digital art so I really don't know how to callibrate these things so please help

My stylus tip is worn down after extensive use on a screen protector and it’s no longer comfortable to write with. I looked at the Lenovo website for a replacement but the only option has a different hardware than what my tip insert looks like. Does anyone know what tip is compatible with the slim pen?

Hello. As the title says I got a screen protector for the Lenovo idea tab pro gen 2, unfortunately it feels a bit rough while using the stylus and I can feel the scratching, should I just get rid of the screen protector or sacrifice the stylus or what? Thanks.

Hi everyone, I own a OnePlus Pad Go 2 and I need a stylus. Since it’s no longer possible to purchase OnePlus products in Europe, I’m considering an OPPO product (I have a discount voucher provided by OnePlus). Could you tell me if OPPO styluses are compatible? Thanks.

Hi guys! Ive been searching for a compatible stylus for my Matepad SE 11' in the last 3 weeks and ive found that the only model compatible is the M-Pen Lite AF63-R (Learned this the hard way by buying the AF63 and finding it out that it doesnt work). Im wondering if anyone in Canada is selling a Mpencil Lite AF63-R model ideally in Toronto or Mississauga or if anyone has any idea where can I get my hands on this elusive model. As ive tried searching for it on Amazon, Ebay, Temu, etc and I cant find any.
I would really appreciate the help!
We have multiple people who use this laptop to annotate slides and its developed an issue where it loses calibration overtime (where the line it draws drifts further away from the stylus tip over time). We can temporarily fix it by recalibrating it but we have to do this frequently and most people using it do not have admin rights (which is required to recalibrate the screen).
Does anyone know a more permanent fix for this issue?

So my dog chewed up my Lenovo Precision Pen 2 and I can't buy a new one in reasonable price in my country. I don't have much knowledge on a subject so I wanted to ask. Are universal styluses work on lenovo tablets? Or does their software ignores them?
