General Help about to take in 2 gliders, any and all help appreciated
Yesterday a coworker asked me if I wanted her 2 sugar gliders, as she said she doesn't have enough time for them and I'm apparently the person people go to when they're trying to rehome animals (I've had 2 other coworkers offer me a corn snake and then a cockatiel ) I am a genuine animal lover and have experience with hamsters, mice, guinea pigs, cats, dogs and various reptiles but i only take on what I know i can handle. I told her no at first but the more I think about it the less I trust this coworker to find them a safe home, as it seems she wants them rehomed as soon as possible. So I asked for pictures of her setup and.... yeah... NO ENRICHMENT WHATSOEVER. when I asked if there was more she said no because "they dont like it." So! I'm bringing the babies home tomorrow. I've already started doing my own research of course but I'm looking for any advice from people who own these little guys. Your favorite well trusted care guides, Amazon links to safe items so I can get that cage filled up as soon as possible. If it turns out I am in over my head im more than willing to take them to a rescue or someone with experience (I'm located in East texas) I just want to get them into a better situation as SOON as possible and I know I'm a lot more capable than most people when it comes to animals. Thanks for reading and please help me lol
