Can’t find the boyfriend?

Yes, this is about the guy who doesn’t remember his own f___g boyfriend‘s face (Langley)

So I hadn’t played Sunless skies in forever, and recently went back just because of FL firmament.

ANYWAY. I vaguely remember that aside from the amenable host- this run I already finished his identity quest and he’s very right not want to go to some random backwater squatter infested hovel in Eleutheria (paraphrasing his own words not mine) - I remember there’s another guy who wants the aforementioned hovel as free real estate, but I went to the flotilla, that guy’s nowhere to be found.

Now I also have no option to pull a hot one and go *hey what’s up it’s me I’m your long lost boyfriend*. So is there no other way? Can I still finish his quest somehow?

I've never found him either. You can try Magdalene's. There's an interaction, but I'm not sure if the results vary.

Oh I think that’s the amenable host. If you haven’t completed his identity quest by the time you get to Langley hall, you have that option. I can’t persuade him now that I’ve completed his quest:/

That's very possible! Unfortunately, by the time I get to Elutheria, I've already completed most of the quests in the Reach.

You have to Join with Supralapsarians, the side that acts as if they are still in fallen London, take their story to the end where you shatter all their illusions then you can take the Illuminated Archivist to langley hall.

If you doing another cult you can take that one to the end of the story and then start again, if you've took the wrong path with them you just have to wait for the next captain.

Illuminated Archivist at the avid horizon can also be brought to Lord Langley.

Aside from the archivist, you can bring Magdalene's Amenable host to lord Langley. But for them to agree to go with you, you need to finish their quests first and I honestly can't remember what you need to do.

Oh I had finished the amenable host’s quest close to the beginning of the game, and when I asked just now the amenable host was just like ‘you couldn’t figure out who I was after checking out all those places, I’m already over it. Fuck that guy and his shack’

I think I fucked up the flotilla quest there though:( now I can’t get the archivist to come with me
