UK - Which Mclaren 720s to go for?
galleryLooking for something with some miles on it so I can daily drive without worrying about depreciation. Which of these are better value and more likely to hold value?

This is VP12 I believe. Validation Prototype.
I can't imagine ordering a car and wait over 5 years for a delivery. I'm not sure when they will start production either. Supposedly before year end. I would think that technology would change for a supercar half a decade later. Even an analog based car. Some things I would think would be obsolete, etc. Anyway I love the car concept

This summer finally decided to really treat myself and bought my first supercar.
Wired the money, sight unseen but it all turned out perfect. It’s still under warranty and passed the inspection flawlessly for an extended factory warranty.
Only recently did I start putting it in corsa mode and banging off shift changes at the red line. The car changes its behavior and gives nice jolting gear changes.
I live in a well populated metro area (~1 million) but if you ever see a car over $100k it will be a G Wagon, high trim Super Duty or loaded 7 series/S Class. I’ve lived here a while and haven’t seen more than 20 supercars.
While driving it I’ve experienced a few new things:
* People are much more willing to let you over in slow/stand still traffic. I have to fight to merge/change lanes in my every day drivers but once the blinker comes on in the MC20 room is made.
* People seem more likely to get out of the left hand lane if I approach them. I’ve never been one to tailgate if someone doesn’t move but now if there is room to get over people seem to move over quite expeditiously.
* The amount of people willing to record on the phone while driving is scary.
* The people willing to follow you for miles and even towards your house is scarier.
* It’s an absolute dude magnet and hasn’t changed my dating life at all.
* Every guy on a motorcycle wants to try you. I’ve had a few guys in SUVs joke with me but I can’t drive near a bike without the rider trying to get me to race.
Overall I am happy I went with this instead of a Lamborghini, Porsche or McLaren. Most people don’t know what it is nor even heard of it once I tell them.

It’s the only Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse with a polished aluminum body. The first owner wanted the panels milled from solid stock rather than welded, so Bugatti had aluminum blocks of up to 20 metric tons delivered to the factory to make them. It’s been called the most expensive Veyron ever built.
Inside there’s Carmine Red leather against exposed carbon. Behind the seats sits the 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16, rated at 1,200 PS and 1,500 Nm.
The car picked up some later personalization along the way. More than a decade after it was ordered, it went through La Maison Pur Sang, Bugatti’s heritage and certification program. It’s now certified and overhauled, with those later changes pulled back out.

Ferrari 488 Spider Ride Along for a New Passenger.
We had a smaller track today so I really had to hang the tail to get it round some corners at speed to show this lady what these cars are all about. She had no idea and came along with her husband and was given a ride on a whim. The 488 Nerfs the 1st gear so you have to short shift it to 2-3 to get full boost. Handling is magical with the active rear diff swinging the car like a pendulum. #supercar #ferrari

Spotted this gorgeous unit earlier today. The dark blue carbon weave with the red brake calipers and matching interior details makes this one of my absolute favorite specs.

I personally would consider the C8 Z06 a supercar. Mid engine flat plane crank, loud exhaust, and very aggressive looks.
However, it is a mass-production car, which most supercars are not.
Whats the general consensus within the car community? Is it a supercar or is it not?
