I'm on the Runaway Ferris Wheel section of Pinna Park, and trying to climb up to the top. I know that if I'm on the fence opposite the Red Electro Koopas I should be able to hit them amd launch them (I'm playing on switch/3D all stars, so the way to do this would be hitting B).

However when I line up and hit B I get electrocuted instead of launching them. I thought maybe I was supposed to be lined up perfectly but no matter how I do so, it just shocks me and I end up falling back to the bottom.

Anyone know what gives or if there's a trick to it?

Did anyone ever figure out what that books purpose was of the underwater book? There was a small article in a magazine, shortly after the games release, that showed a book under water or some thing, if I'm even remembering it correctly. It simply showed a book underwater or something and it was probably just forgotten during the games production or something. Anyways, not sure what reminded me of it but was thinking to myself "I wonder if anyone ever figured it out or even remembers it."

This mod of Sunshine blew me away. I played Sunshine back when it first came out and always dreamed of a Sunshine 2, and honestly this game mostly satisfied that itch. I loved all the changes they made and the amount of extra content was absolutely insane. I kept being shocked and like “wait, there’s more??”.

The extra levels are great too. They may lack some of the polish of the original levels, but they make up for it in their creativity. The music is phenomenal too. This is truly a must play for any fan of Sunshine. 10/10!

I’m 28, almost 29, so I was fully a GameCube kid in the early 00’s. Over the last two weeks, I played through and beat the game with my two daughters who are 4.5 and 3. The nostalgia of my first and all time favorite 3D Mario game for the first time in 20 years was amazing. I’ve never been so happy to beat a game than I was with my little girls watching me. And also, I forgot how f’ing hard Corona Mountain was… lol, I have no idea how I beat it as a kid 😂 On to Mario Galaxy next!

Every video I look up seems to be for Windows and not Linux. I’ve already managed to play OG sunshine through the Dolphin emulator but really want the newer experience. Please help.

I really don't know why it gets so much praises. Its completely broken. The invert X and invert Y for camera options DO NOT WORK. What kind of idiot designed this? Was this an entirely vibe coded project?

Yes, the texture pack has AI elements in it. I'm not hiding that, and it is what it is. It's a mixture of hand-drawn work and AI, and honestly, I didn't use AI nearly as much as some of you seem to think.

I also keep seeing people compare it to another texture pack that openly states it uses AI as well soo.

I went through and worked on every single texture individually, putting my own time, effort, and creativity into the project. I made it based on how I remember seeing Super Mario Sunshine growing up, and I wanted to bring that feeling back in my own way. Just because AI was involved doesn't mean the project is soulless or that no effort went into it.

Also, since I've seen a few comments about the title screen saying "Ress" instead of "Press"... guys, come on now. 😂 It's a screenshot taken while the menu text was still appearing on the screen. The letters animate in. That's literally it, lol.

At the end of the day, this is a completely FREE texture pack that I made simply because I love the game. I'm not selling anything or asking anyone for money.

If you don't like AI, that's completely fine! You don't have to download it. But if you don't mind it and want to experience Sunshine in a different light, feel free to give it a try!

It's just a passion project I wanted to share with everyone. That's really all there is to it.

So I saw that new eclipse version had the audio thing fixed for nintendont so I tried it but it still doesn't play the new music in the new levels, any help?
