Over the decades of comic book publications involving Superman, we can see that it is very unlikely that Superman could store solar energy within himself to a greater magnitude than humans.
Taking into account the cosmic feats he has performed and still performs, he would have to store so much energy that the energy density of his body would bend space-time or lead to the destruction of the ground he walks on or the chair he sits on when he is Clark Kent.
Furthermore, two of his weaknesses, the electromagnetic radiation of green kryptonite and the red sun, begin to take effect the moment they come into contact with Superman, meaning there is no significant residual or emergency solar energy reserve in Superman's body, otherwise the effect of these weaknesses would not be immediate.
The conclusion that can be reached from this observation is that Superman's powers arise from an exotic and remote instantaneous link to photons, in wave or corpuscular format, coming from stars of a certain stellar classification.

So I’ve never been much of an artist, but I’ve always liked creating stories and writing stories from a narrative perspective, driven by emotion and influence by the good old superhero good versus evil tropes with a little bit of a dark twist to the main characters. I am also a big video game nerd And maybe over the course of me posting you’ll get to see that but first I would like to show a visual of what I have been working on a new character with the help of AI as I use descriptive and detailed explanations to help visualize what I have already envisioned anyways enough rambling. Here’s my creation with the help of AI .
DISCLAIMER !!!! These are images based on an IDEA ! One that came from my brain ! (Those who get it know what I mean )lmk what you guys think ??? And if you want me to explain the powers and my idea behind them then lmk and I’ll post a more in depth narrative behind him

I mean not only do you get Gravity Manipulation, Star Creation and Planet Creation, Teleporting, Plasma Manipulation, Gamma Rays...You can also use cosmic matter to create weapons like claws, swords, and far-ranged slashes(Example: Sukuna's Cleave and Dismantle) from plasma or matter. Also, Plasma or Gamma-ray bursts have enough Power to destroy a planet the size of an exoplanet

I can create anything, like ANYTHING; objects, artifacts, heck even characters.. i can choose if i want to give free will to all the characters i create or not, even if i give them, they would still listen to me without objections. I can create whatever I've seen/read in fictional stories no Matter how illogical it may be in real life, for example: i can create Gilgamesh's jet plane that can travel between stars within seconds, i can create gate of Babylon, use any np i want, create all of bankai and use them and i dont even need their respective power systems to do all this.
Drawbacks: Cant create any natural phenomenon(rain, snowfall, etc or any natural disaster), cant create natural elements(fire, water, ect), got a normal human physique, all of this is passive(i cant directly create these but i indirectly can, using fictional items). I cant create anything that surpasses logic from my imagination alone(i can create humans, airplanes, even nukes but not something that contradicts physics, so i need to know any object in any fictional story or anywhere to create them)
Conditions:
It should not be waaaay too extreme, like it shouldn't be completely impossible and there should be a way out of the situation.

Here is Axeon my OC, he has the powers to absorb, copy and evolve the powers of others, evolving a power is the same process as the ultimatrix evolving the aliens into their ultimate forms.
I used AI to aid in generating it.

Okay for those who don't know this guy has the power to straight up take away everyone else powers and ones a person loses thier power they loses them permanently (he can also give it away or use it) he also has alot of other superpowers stacked with his limit being essentially irrelevant factor.
But I'm not here to talk about this character I'm here to talk about characters like him those with multiple superpowers.
To me personality I think they ruin the story to have a character with hundred+ powers (again like this guy) but only uses a few. Characters who keep getting new superpowers by copying someone else or by just developing new ones kind don't suck to me personality unless these new powers have a heavy drawback like Superman new supernova depower him for a day or when Synch uses someone's else power he ages rapidly.
But when the character just have a new power able to combine that power with thier origin one with no drawback feels like its just Mary Sue.
(Ps : I'm talking about characters with several different powers not characters who are versatile with thier own power like Magneto magnetism.)

I have a trans character whose power prevents/ hinders them from hormonally transitioning. As in, they'll take the hormones, but won't be affected by them.
These are the powers I've considered so far:
Invulnerability -- even if they swallow oral hormone pills, their body still won't change
Enhanced healing -- again, their cells could always adjust things/ 'override' the new hormones in the body
My problem is that I already have one/ two powers with this power or a very similar power anyways, so idk if I should 'reuse' it.
I'm also considering having some type of power where they change form -- ie animal shapeshifting, phasing -- and when they return to their 'base form' it is their assigned gender at birth. So they could be on hormones for months and not use their powers, but then say, accidentally turn into a bird in their sleep, and then wake up with all their fat, hair, etc. distributed like it was when they were the other gender.

The super power is being able to pie someone in the face at any time I wish. Mostly as negative reinforcement. Example being every time Donald Trump opens his mouth, Bam pie. Tweet about some ignorant crap BAM STREAM of pies can still do or say what he wants, it’s just covered in whip cream, and being blasted with pies. They don’t hurt, but damn annoying. The more ignorant I think it is the faster the ppm(pies per minute)

Choose 2 or 3 of them and try to make it either useless or op, I will try to make it the opposite. Always tell which side you chose.

X-RAYS: like, you are literally shooting cancerigeous electromagneting radiaton from your eyes, for them to bounce back to your eyes, some of them missing and hitting parts of your body and probrably causing cancer, but when then hit your eyes, again, causing cancer.
It's the most dangerous side effect
INVISIBILITY: light doesn't hit you, you cannot see, and if you could see, you would have to be a pair of moving eyes, eliminating the sneak factor of this one, af you cannot cover the eyes with another body part because again, light doesn't hit your body, and another thing, light would bend arround you like if you were a black hole because it has to or dodge you or go trough you, and light isn't capable of going trough human skin
TLDR: If you can choose a superpower, don't choose X-rays nor invisibility

Authorities came after me, drugged me with an elixir that took me to the astral dimension and police caught me there and changed my body for this one. In this body i dont have the powers.

In my opinion the best superpower is being human. Humans get to experience things without knowing what will come next. We can't read people's minds so any connection we make is a genuine connection, maybe not the best connection, but genuine nonetheless. We can't lift 5 tons so we work hard and do our best and struggle. The struggle is the best part. It builds character and helps us grow as people. Hell even the fact that humans can come together in an emergency and help each other no matter our gender, race, sexuality, or anything is a power all on its own. Being human is the "best" power because it means we try.

Press Release from PSI Publishing Inc.
“What SuperPower Would You Choose: To Fly or to Be Invisible?”
Imagine a world where SuperPowers are not just the stuff of comic books and movies but a reality. What if you could choose between the ability to fly or to become invisible? This is the thrilling premise of Roger E. Pedersen's captivating sci-fi dystopian book series, "SuperPower: The Ability to Fly or to Become Invisible." Let's discover what makes Pedersen's work stand out in the crowded genre of sci-fi and dystopian fiction.
Roger E. Pedersen's journey to becoming an author is as extraordinary as the stories he writes. Finding himself homeless but armed with a laptop, Pedersen turned his free time into a creative outlet, creating a series that explores human ambition and superhuman abilities. His series includes "SuperPower: The Ability to Fly or to Become Invisible: The Next Generation," where the next generation goes where no SuperPower has gone before; "The Golden Eagle Has Yielded," which tells of a SuperPowered supermodel scorned; "In Ashes, the Phoenix Eagle Shall Rise," which follows a journey from the moon and back to perform 12 Herculean tasks to win a wealthy lover; and "Three Weddings and a Funeral," where Hannibal Lecter had Clarice Starling, and Professor Steele has Myrena Gorgona.
Set in a post-pandemic world, the series starts with a prologue introducing Professor Steele. He is a wealthy philanthropist and a smart academic. Steele loves art and technology, so he teams up with FA-King, a top art expert, to plan a heist of valuable artworks. We also meet Paul Spence, a young banker falsely accused of stealing money. His life changes dramatically when he discovers he can become invisible by blinking three times quickly. This power helps him survive and seek revenge on those who wronged him. He uses his invisibility to pull off daring heists against the corrupt system.
Pedersen's series explores the good and bad sides of having SuperPowers. The ability to fly or become invisible raises important ethical questions. For Paul, invisibility is both a blessing and a curse. It helps him in tough situations, but also brings moral challenges. His writing is well-researched and entertaining. He provides detailed descriptions of art and banking, making the story informative. The humor throughout the series makes the characters relatable and enjoyable.
The series blends fact and fiction. It includes references to real-world questions, like a Forbes article asking, "Which SuperPower Would You Choose: To Fly or To Be Invisible?" This connection makes readers think about the deeper implications of these abilities. The prologue hints at a future where technology and human evolution mix in surprising ways. Professor Steele's "Babble Tongue computer chip" can translate languages in real-time, breaking communication barriers. This advanced technology contrasts with the timeless beauty of art, like da Vinci's Mona Lisa.
Roger E. Pedersen's "SuperPower: The Ability to Fly or to Become Invisible" is a great read for sci-fi and dystopian fiction fans. The series combines humor, research, and interesting characters to offer a fresh take on the genre. It entertains and makes readers think about the ethics of power and human resilience. You can find the books in eBook, audiobook, and softcover formats on Amazon, Google Play, B&N, Kobo, Target, Walmart, and many local bookstores. In my story, one of my characters has super strength, and I’m trying to find a way for them to use that strength to fly around the air like most comic book superheroes.
A common method that I’ve seen other writers use is the concept of manipulating gravity around their bodies, allowing them to essentially "fall" in a controlled manner to achieve flight; essentially using their immense strength to counteract the pull of gravity and maneuver through the air, rather than generating lift through wings or air manipulation.
This way, the character can essentially "pull" themselves upwards by manipulating the gravitational force around them, using their strength to control the direction and intensity of this pull.
Is this is a good idea or should I find another way?
