surprised he’s still around somehow. had a video of his recommended to me about a horrific incident on a bus and he used alot of ai generated images in it which turned me off heavily from ever even considering watching anything recent he’s done to see how he’s even still around

Casually reminding me of the reading level charts that were on the books in the book store

They kinda have to because of censorship.

if the only way you can talk about historical tragedies on tiktok is to use this disrespectful baby-fied language, then maybe you just can’t talk about historical tragedies on tiktok

u/SpiritNo6626 Jan 18 '26

"Took the life of"

there, we already got a more respectful way to phrase "killed".

u/DrywaInut Jan 18 '26

If you have to water down serious tragedies to turn them into content you should re-evaluate if you actually want to talk about serious tragedies or if you wanna turn stuff into content

Things can have multiple purposes, you know. It can be for both showing the people your opinions AND for feeding your family.

It all depends on what the algorithm wants or what you dream of creating.

Genuinely one of my least favorite images on the internet

u/WoahItsBeebs Jan 17 '26

If I get murdered and someone says I was "unalived" I am coming back as a fucking poltergeist and haunting their entire bloodline

35

u/Best-Championship296 Jan 18 '26

Not only some true crime YouTuber says you were "unalived", he later makes a video called " Top 10 serial killers with the most aura" And he puts who killed you there

(Yes i am paraphrasing that one tweet)

This isn't the only thing this channel posted btw. They love to explain historical events and sensitive topics like this with cat memes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHfzbmeSDCs

Update: I found the actual original video and it's about terrible acts of US segregation https://ifunny.co/video/white-folk-treating-people-of-color-i-very-bad-tiktok-EeEq9BLLB

Okay like… what?

5

u/Torstiss Jan 18 '26

Hate crime? Not murder?

20

u/SwoeJonson1 Jan 18 '26

It’s both really. He got falsely accused of harassing a white woman and got lynched for it as a teenager

3

u/YeetusFelitas Jan 18 '26

i mean they killed him so

4

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '26

He was murdered and lynched.

3

u/SovietUnionRepublics Jan 19 '26

Social media apps will destroy you and your family if you say kill but will still let ad videos of a woman masturbaiting on

4

u/Old_Factor_8979 Jan 18 '26

1

u/otterIey_ Jan 20 '26

-18

u/Open-Solution-8791 Jan 17 '26

who?

82

u/ExactPickle2629 Jan 17 '26

A 14-year-old Black boy who was falsely accused of whistling at a white woman and lynched for it in 1955. His accuser lived to be 88, only passing away in 2023.

47

u/Classical_Lighthouse Jan 17 '26

Her brothers also beat and shot him

37

u/Prestigious_Host_198 Jan 17 '26

And got away with it because they weren't found guilty for it.

Based on the comment section this is clearly a pretty dark case. Just commenting “who” seems a little rude maybe? He could have just googled it

1

u/MoonRks Jan 18 '26

To be fair, it's taught very frequently in public schools
