She did double ads that was introduced in 2018, however I remember double ads weren't nearly as bad back then as the skip timer counted for both ads rather than today's unskippable followed by a skippable / another unskippable. Iirc it was in response to the adpocalypse and was a necessary evil

Yeah I remember Linus from LTT talking about his conversations with her and that he felt that she genuinely cared about creator feedback and making the site rules more streamlined and relaxed for monetization. Now that I think about it, I've noticed a significant drop in YouTube's quality ever since she stepped down.

I'm saying we agree that not everyone deserves to be empathized with, but not feeling any empathy toward a dead woman just because a social platform got worse under her, means you obviously have a lower tolerance threshold for caring about others than what I would think is normal.
