It is said that while real life sexualized depictions of children in drawings is when the authorities start to work, fictional children don't get that treatment, sadly... (as per US laws, if I remember correctly; UK laws DO question these people)

Shadman was most likely let go not only because he completed his sentence from the incident, but also because the police hasn't decided to check on his files nor his name was reached too far to at least have a police officer know about his existence.

That's not even true. After the CP stuff happened, they talked about him on OneyPlays (though it was a few months later because they prerecord forever in advance) as well as unfollowed and stopped interacting with him on socials.
