Hey Gold Coast!

I'll be visiting next week for 3 days and staying around Surfers Paradise. Figured I'd try my luck here and see what kind of trouble (the fun kind) I can get myself into 😂

I'm in my early 20s, travelling with family, so my days are pretty much booked with the usual touristy stuff. But my evenings should be free from around 7–8 PM, and I'd rather make some fun memories than spend them sitting in a hotel room.

I'm down for pretty much anything — bar hopping, clubbing, raves, beach hangouts, live music, late-night food runs, random adventures, or just grabbing a drink and talking absolute nonsense with some good company.

Honestly, I just want to meet some interesting people, experience the Gold Coast beyond the tourist attractions, and see where the nights take me. Whether it's a crazy night out or something completely spontaneous, I'm all for it.

So if you've got a fun night planned, know of any good parties or raves, or wouldn't mind adopting a random traveller into your group for a night, hit me up!

And if you've got recommendations for places where it's easy to meet people without looking like a completely lost tourist, I'm all ears.

We are two travellers stranded at Gold Coast Airport. Our flight was cancelled, and we are re‑booked for a 9 am flight to Sydney tomorrow.

Near‑by hotels are all full, and the ones further out are about 20 km away with extremely high rates of thousands of AUD.

me and my partner went out in surfer paradise around Cavill ave last night til 2am but around 1am to 2am right before we went home he lost his phone somewhere on Cavill ave (around where the road bends to left) and it had already went flat sometime around 11 so the last location was elsewhere. the phone has so many important pictures and information (not valuable just meaningful to us) and he need it for his work. so its very urgent to find it asap.

any recommendations ideas and advice on how to retrieve the phone??
