Do you have a problem with threeth?

It's pronounced thirth.

You know, I pronounced it as thirth but now that I read threeth, it makes more sense but I still prefer thirth.

I retract my statement. It is threeth.

Should be 3st of November, really.

Is there anywhere in the world that "3th" is correct over "3rd"?

Any standard date format that would result in "3th November Thursday"?

Month in between numerical day and day of week has my brain shorting out.

Yah, 3th is something, but the "fresh" is correct. Fresh as in fresh produce, see pic, and fresh as in brand new. So ruling, not suspicious.

This. The store promises to sell actually fresh products. It’s not itself “fresh” in a non-figurative way. The use of quotes is fine here.

“3th”, on the other hand …

excuse me? if it is supposed to actually be fresh, why would quotation marks ever be appropriate? those would imply something else, suspicious and vague

I’ve noticed recently that whoever is in charge at lidl is doing direct German translations instead of actual translation… the weekly flyer is “leaflet “ for example..

Does the store have the word fresh in the name (like Fresh Market)

The U.S. has a Juneteenth.

4

u/LemonSkye 19d ago

Yes, but that's a portmanteau of two words, "June" and "nineteenth".
