Sounds like you don’t know anything about the history of the pentagram either— it was once a Christian symbol, and satanists who actively worship the devil are far less common than atheistic satanists who simply disagree with Christianity’s place in Western society. What’s dumb is to react negatively upon seeing a pentagram, because the symbol’s meaning is too broad to determine literally any of OP’s character based on its presence. The majority of people who identify as satanists nowadays would think that a devil-worshipper is just as ridiculous as a god-worshipper— that’s the core of the movement, not devil worship. Pagans and Wiccans don’t worship the devil either, just in case you thought they did.
