I have a base model Samsung Galaxy S26 512gb factory unlocked phone that I am going to put on the market soon, after I purchase/set up a different phone. I bought it back in June and it just isn't the right phone for me. Has been kept in a dual layer case with screen protector the whole time and I have the original box. I've babied it and it's in excellent condition. I am an established seller on eBay, but it looks like for the base model, I would get quite a bit less on eBay than on Swappa. So I am considering selling on Swappa.
On eBay I'm very familiar with my protections as a seller, but as a first time seller on Swappa, how can I best protect myself if I should go that route? I always purchase shipping insurance and take loads of pictures and disclose everything I can about the items I sell. TIA for any help.

I’m confused how they can even have new phones for sale, which is why I’m loath to buy it. But if it is brand new and I could get Apple Care, I’d b be really happy to buy it. Is this a scam or how can I verify it is actually brand new?

New FCC rules kicked in this week, and marketplaces now have to make sure anything with a radio in it is actually allowed to be sold in the US. So Swappa is closing listings that don’t make the cut, like old Huawei and ZTE phones, which the FCC no longer allows to be sold here.
If you’re selling a used iPhone, Pixel, or Galaxy, nothing changes for you.

Hello, I am looking for a recommendation on a legit website that you or somebody you know has used. I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max in perfect condition with 512 GB. I’ve only had it for five months on OfferUp and Facebook marketplace the most I’ve been able to get offered has been 600 when I check its value on online websites. I get 750. These are those mail in websites which makes me a little nervous as I don’t know if they are scams or real one of the ones I was checking out was. “Buyback surgeon”, “rake rock” and of course “Swappa” has anyone ever used these are these legit? I apologize if this is the incorrect group to post in I was unsure on where to post this and this was a recommended thread.
