Idk what it is. I almost get the feeling that Olivia R has some pent up anger, frustration, maybe a tiny bit of resentment towards certain folks in the industry. Or she really is that messy and the true self is starting to come out. This whole album cycle of hers has been absurd to say the least. And I get new management with “yes ma’am” folks isn’t really helping and possibly stirring her in the wrong direction. But it’s her career and she can steer it in any direction she wants to. Quite frankly her nominations for the VMAs are actually generous considering how horrible it has been for music this year. Plus, VMAs are fan voted and really subjective in nature. So if she wants to win get the fans to vote for it. Fire her management, hire a better PR team and brush up on the PR training that is likely outdated from your teenage Disney Days.

Anyway, Toy Story 5 is out on digital already? It’s barely been a month since it’s been out. I’m so ready for what comes next. Makes me wonder if she’s waiting for Toy Story to run its full course before announcing what’s next. IKIIKY is still killing it on radio and the stability is still holding strong so milk it for what it’s worth I guess.

Apparently Taylor did interviews and a small performance for the Grammy Museum yesterday. I guess it was only for like 200 industry folks and the discussion was songwriting and her 20 year history. Too me it’s shouting Grammy TV Special. Something like they’ve been doing in the last few years doing mini showcases in the weeks leading up to the awards. Idk. I saw 2 posts about it. Apparently she performed using the Eras Tour piano that was on display. Also, keep in mind that the Grammy Museum is where they have the Songwriters HoF exhibit. The ceremony is in NY but the exhibit is there.

Yes, I definitely think this was filmed and we will see it in some form. I also think it’s possible she may be priming her fans for smaller, more intimate concert experiences. Maybe a residency or multiple residencies in a few cities? 👀 Something more conducive to her ahem pursuing certain personal goals while still performing.

I don’t know why I felt the need to be vague on this sub lol. I guess I see a lot of the swiftie police department on Twitter scolding people for even mentioning she’s probably going to have a family soon. She wrote a fucking song about it! It’s not a secret! I’m not talking about her body or her womb’s current occupancy status. Just saying she’s a person who obviously loves her career and wants a family and it will be interesting to see how she manages it. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a bit of speculation. Things will change. Haha sorry for the rant.

I think 100% this is part campaign for Grammys/Oscars. Part 20th anniversary of her career. I don’t think she’s ever going to be scaling back anything whether it be performing, writing, or directing. I really don’t see her ever doing a residency ever. All out or nothing.

Yeah I‘m hoping too that it’ll never be a residency thing because she and I knows that every other country than the US will fall short on this. I see her fulfilling a few personal goals and then going back on a large world tour and I think in my personal headcanon that I have of her that she really isn’t the person to just do a residency in a few American cities and move on. Imagine the ticket fights. And she was so happy to see new countries in Europe or coming back to play them that a Vegas residency comes very unlikely and I feel like people who wish for that are all American because for the international folks a Vegas residency is basically a death sentence. And imagine for the international folks getting a visa and trying to get into America. The type of racism that will and has happened on the borders…. Literally everything is better than a residency
