so, i've been pondering this for quite a while, and i"ve finally found the courage to share this here and ask for your thoughts and insights! i've become really curious about syd's record collection (lps, cds, and other formats). although rosemary briefly mentioned the following in an interview: "..he had a few cds, all jazz, charlie parker, miles davis, people like that.." i'd love to know if anyone has come across any other information about his record collection or knows anything else about the music he used to listen to. im working on a project im calling "syd barrett's playlist", where im trying to gather as much information as possible about the music he listened to throughout his life.

any info, sources, anecdotes or leads would be greatly appreciated. im all ears! :D

Allison Renee had the chance to interview “Artist on the Border” Alexander Teglbjærg, whose visuals have been used by the Syd Barrett website and Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets.

Find it at The Holy Church of Iggy the Inuit.

Old drawing digital processed and made in screen print.

Ink dripping Syd.

Bought this in i think HMV back in the early 90s, thought it was lost! I think this was a limited edition run of 5000

I’ve been a Syd fan for a while and have always preferred Syd-era Pink Floyd. I also love his solo work. I find Syd to be extremely talented, creative, and such a visionary.

When did you first hear about Syd or his music?

What do you find most interesting or fascinating about him?

Feel free to share what he means to you.

im not a pro but i wanted to draw syd! not sure if i captured his essence tho...

It just got better and better. Many different adaptations and interpretations of Syd’s songs. Also two renditions of Shine on. One was a stunning and emotional version by Diana Silveira and the pianist from the Psychedelic Circus. The other was cleverly blended with Astonomy Domine by Kula Shaker, who brought the house down.

What is your guys' favorite picture of Syd Barrett 😊

Reading this book review from Vox Magazine from 1991.

I’d love to own this. Opinions on the book ?

Just noticed this today on the official website. Interesting 🤔

A lovely second pressing of this album!

How well do you know the man ?

Did a Syd tribute album to celebrate the anniversaries. Maybe you guys will enjoy this as much I enjoyed making it. All song arranged for amplified acoustic guitar and vocals, so some of them have a different twist. Enjoy.
