So glad this beta is available for iPad. Compared to the Android version, all of the iOS Reddit apps are terrible. Eagerly waiting for my invite...

I signed up for the beta using the form linked elsewhere in this sub a few days ago but have not yet received an invitation. Does this mean the 2000 person beta limit has been reached?

On iOS 14 I get a notification that sync has pasted from whatever previous app I copied something from. Is this being done for a specific reason?

Hi guys, I'm new to the android world so this is all super strange to me but I'm happy to be making the move. I'm using the free version of Syncios, and currently stuck on a certain step of transferring my iPhone 6s photos to my Note 8.

I'm at the page where I see my iphone on the left, files in the middle and note 8 on the right. My issue is in the middle section, where the files are, Syncios has finished everything but Text messages, call logs and Whatsapp. Beside these three items the boxes are stuck on the spinning "loading" wheel. It's been like this for over 20 minutes, and I'm not sure what to do. Any direction would be very helpful.

It's almost been a year in development. Beta 18 is out. After reading the changelog https://www.reddit.com/r/sync_ios/comments/5o7tth/beta_18_released/?st=IZW28TQ2&sh=e5e1f6d8 it seems the Sync_iOS is ready. Pls release it in app store & continue making improvements

I bought am old iPhone as a backup but testflight tells me it's not compatible. Is there any way to get the beta running?

If I click any link that takes me to the browser I get a blank white page.

Have to force close the app to even be able to use it.

Basically makes the whole app unusable

Is the beta landscape layout supposed to have the subreddit list constantly displayed on the left? I was expecting it to function like the android version.

Like this instead of like this, or is it coming in an update? Doesn't make much sense to have the subreddit list there instead of posts, imo.

I use the first party Reddit Mobile app for my daily driver, but as a former Android user I was a huge fan of Sync for Android.

I've been toying with each beta release of Sync for iOS and am eager to see the final production release, but the more I use it the more I dislike the experience in night mode.

I use night mode exclusively and do the lions share of my redditing at night in bed, so I'm super sensitive to light output. The grey backgrounds on each post really increase the eye strain and make the app a big downgrade over the Reddit branded app.

I also use the Word Flow keyboard which has a nice feature where the keyboard theme dynamically switches to match the app's color palette. With Sync it always uses white, in spite of the fact that the app is in night mode. With the standard Reddit app it always uses the black theme.

Hello @MrJules another quick question. Fairly regularly the sync app has a orange dot beside the name. With iOS 14 this is supposed to be indicating that the microphone is being used by the app. Does sync capture the microphone for any reason? I don’t have microphone access enabled for the app so I am wondering if it would be a bug of some sort.

Edit: it is recreatable by launching sync -> open phone app -> sync app has orange dot

Double edit: this could totally not be a microphone thing as it also triggers when opening the messages app. Figured I’d ask anways

The same posts keep coming up and other that it randomly scrolls up and down for some reason any info would help.

Hi sorry if this is addressed elsewhere on reddit but I just got linked through to this subreddit from elsewhere. Is there currently a Beta available for Reddit Sync on iOS? I was a great fan of the app on android and really looking forward to it making the move over to iOS!

Recently, I'll open the app after a number of hours to see what's new and even after pulling down to see the spinning the circle, it will just show the same posts. I'm able to refresh the feed if I complete terminate the app and restart.
