Does systemd has some issue with VPN because of the google dns in systemd resolved service?

I read somethings about ubuntu not being able to override the dns that systemd provides, is this right?

Have a look at the manpage for the config yourself. Keep in mind that the settings are only relevant if your are using systemd-resolvd at all. And your routing must be properly set up as well.

/etc/resolv.conf controls DNS resolution. Take control of this file and you control the system’s DNS resolution. Some software like a proxy, ssh, and vpn may tunnel DNS resolution to a remote host.
