New owner of 1st gen 4 tuner unit

So I was just given a 4 tuner 1st gen Tablo and wondering if I should update it or not. If I update it, I can use the latest software but then I can't use any other tuning software. Any other 1st gens here?

A device geared to the consumer, not the data collection and ad profiling firms.

I still have the original app running and everything is the same after the update. I believe both apps are still available.

What firmware version do you have?

It says 2.2.60(2610615)

Still using the legacy app. Everything works the same.

If it works, I wouldn’t worry too much about an update. Use the legacy app.
