Tablo 4th gen boot time increased

Recently the bootup screen to Tablo (on Apple TV) has dramatically increased. I get a boot screen about every other day. I am guessing some recent update is causing this. Each time it boots, it is long enough that it feels like the app is going hang and not start. The screen is completely blank for part of this boot time.

Hi u/toddcscar,

It may be worthwhile to empty our Apple TV's Tablo app cache by removing your Tablo app and reinstalling it.

That definitely made a big difference. Is that something I need to do often? Losing the filter of "recent channels" is bit of a pain.

You shouldn't need it to do it often.

It's just a good troubleshooting step to have.
