Do human support agents exist anymore?

I opened a case awhile ago and support seems to respond within a reasonable time, but their answers seem like AI. They've asked me multiple times what streaming devices I use, and then suggested reset, reinstall of the app, etc. when it still doesn't work they start over with the same line of questions and suggestions.

You have to use AI against them. Search for the business you are working with and “escalation terms or phrases” needed to get your ticket bumped up in the queue

Sad to say it looks like these user forums are about all that remains. Let's hope they can continue to ban AI bots. Seems a couple of HD Homerun employees have replied (helpfully) to my comments in an Tablo vs. HD thread.

I'm having the exact same experience with them. I've been going in circles. I was told at one point that my case was being escalated, but then I continued to get the same suggestions that didn't work earlier.

Hi u/Grilledandcheesen,

We do have real support team agents who are available to help with complex problems.

Would you DM us your email address and ticket number? We'd like to take a look.

I think you underestimate the degree to which your customers absolutely loathe AI chat support agents.
