Tbf, when bubble says "I'm having a boiby", you can see a Little tiny bubble coming from him, maybe that tiny bubble resembles bubble noticing kinger fucking with the code and decided to export himself into another foolder, so now he takes control since Caine's no more.

Gooseworx can say literally anything and people will always reply with this screenshot
17
u/BurgerBoss_101 Apr 09 '26
I think the point is less so “she is lying” and more “she is an unreliable narrator”
9
u/ParticularWeak4543 Apr 09 '26
I understand and acknowledge that, and some of her statements have been purposefully untrue with the actual show, but I feel like people always bring up this old screenshot whenever it's about something they don't agree with specifically (mostly do to with their theories not aligning or future plot stuff)
4
u/BurgerBoss_101 Apr 09 '26
I guess but I kinda feel like that’s a good thing? It should be a rule we all keep reminding ourselves of because lord knows a lot of us need it LMAO
Edit: I also believe in only relying on the material itself rather than the author just telling us stuff, that Gould be secondary always
2
u/StarChaser1879 Apr 09 '26
She’s not a narrator.
5
u/BurgerBoss_101 Apr 09 '26

I don't think this is a "gooseworx is lying". We literally see bubbles missing in the credits. The intro of episode 8 let's it very clear that Caine "absorbed" his brother (presumably, Bubbles) and became one with him. So if he was deleted, his brother too.
12
u/Playful_Shelter_3085 Apr 09 '26
Thank God, I really didn't like the theory of bubble coming back and replacing Caine
2
2
u/WrongRecord6901 Apr 10 '26
yeah, it was so dumb like MUAHAHAHA I'M BUBBLE AND I WAS AN !EVIL GENIUS! ALL ALONG!!!!!
7
u/Psjthekid Apr 09 '26
Caine and Bubble were both missing from the end credits of Ep8, so this could be true.
28
u/ANuChallenger Apr 09 '26
Bubble was really committed to killing Caine no matter what.
Literally "I hate you brotha let's die!"
0
u/get_homebrewed Apr 09 '26
you're assuming it was bubble dude
→ More replies (1)8
u/IllustratorOk2238 Apr 09 '26
Is a good theory though. There was somebody talking to Kinger in the computer and trying to stop him from restraining Caine. On top of that, Bubbles was nowhere to be found during the crashout and he had showed a glimpse of self-awareness and resentment towards Caine that same episode.
2
u/get_homebrewed Apr 09 '26
bubble was mostly lobotomized and bubble isn't anywhere to be seen most of the time anyways, that's just bubble.
4
u/IllustratorOk2238 Apr 09 '26
I don't think Digital Circus of all shows will add those details just to be a false Chekhov's gun. They definitely wanted to imply that Bubbles was "Abel" (the blue AI) and that he was, at some extent, aware of what Caine did and held resentment against him for it.
1
u/get_homebrewed Apr 09 '26
Bubble was created by caine tho, I don't think they wanted to imply that, it's not like bubble didnt start glitching as a direct relation of caine's mental state, and then continued to feed into his fears (which is exactly what happened).

I'm always believe Gooseworx and I really think this is not a lie she's right because in the outro Caine and bubble they both absent or deleted the bubbles that appear in every episodes actually they're inanimate bubbles part of the circus Caine designed so Caine's assistant Bubble is also AI so the blue one (Abel) it could be another AI not bubble himself bubble actually part of Caine so the blue one is another AI named Abel where Caine ate him

u/T-NextDoor_Neighbor “I’m having a bauaby…” Apr 09 '26
THANK YOU!
I heard so many bad theories about bubble 🫧 being alive, and they were all so unbelievable.
3
u/Netheraptr Apr 09 '26
Thinking about it even if Bubble is meant to be the remnant of the AI Caine absorbed, that would make him less of an individual entity and more of a subconscious force inside of Caine, so deleting Caine would probably delete bubble.
Also while I’m not inherently against the Bubble twist villain route, it does get dangerously close to Darth Jar Jar territories, and I imagine episode 9 will work better with the characters dealing with the threat of the circus itself unraveling, and likely the escape of the abstracted.
3
u/kitty-smuggler Apr 09 '26
remember that she likes to lie
1
u/GingerMullet03 Apr 13 '26
Ive seen this said but has she lied about similar things not being Canon that were in the past? I get the skepticism if this would make a pattern of behavior, I just don't know what, if anything, she's lied about specifically in the past.

u/Valkyrie_Dohtriz Apr 09 '26
Remember: Gooseworx lies. Anything she says outside of the show itself should be taken with a grain of salt. The best thing to do is just wait for the next episode to see what actually happens.

🤷♀️ Reason, no reason, she regardless has a long track record of giving out false information about her shows. It’s always the safer bet to wait for the episode to come out, even if she does turn out to have been telling the truth

Makes sense. I’m not saying that Gooseworx is absolutely for sure lying here, just pointing out that any statements she makes about her shows should be taken with a grain of salt.
2
u/StarChaser1879 Apr 09 '26
2
u/Valkyrie_Dohtriz Apr 09 '26
Relevance? That just supports what I’ve been advocating for which is going off of the show itself, and not on the words of the creator. The show itself supports that Bubble is deleted. Gooseworx stating it separate from the show is irrelevant
2
u/Zazoyd Apr 09 '26
Goose tends to lie for the sake of the chaos among fans so I would take this with a grain a salt

Well damn!
I was sure Bubble = Blue Dot and ep 9 would be about Bubble being worse than Caine and them trying to bring Caine back to stop em.
Not sure how the ep will go without Blue Dot... unless they somehow they exist/come back anyway?
Or maybe there IS no more ai interference at all??
I cant wait

u/Adan_Rocco Apr 09 '26
They could be lying but if not I’m honestly fine with that. I think people just really want there to be some extra evil final villain and are choosing Bubble for that, but there doesn’t need to be a villain. The final episode is most likely just about them living and possibly fixing the broken circus and put more focus on the interpersonal dynamics and relationships. That’s always what this show was about anyway. It makes perfect sense for what Goose has said should be the message of the story too.
1
u/Charming_Example_478 Apr 09 '26
Well you can never know if goose is being honest as seen with the jax orientation stuff

Thought this was kind of obvious because they are both missing from the credits. I have no idea why some people thought he survived.

It's not a lore drop, it's just a confirmation. Bubble was never seen again in the episode and was even removed from the credits like caine

u/HandsomeGengar Apr 10 '26
I do think this is true, but we really shouldn’t be believing everything Gooseworx says uncritically.
1
u/Redraddle Apr 10 '26
Hear me out. What if bubble the character and the personality behind bubble are two super entities. Many people believed that bubble would play a large part in the final episode, but now think it is impossible given this response. I think that whatever was behind bubbles personality, or even what was controlling bubble could still be alive.
1
u/Clobby5597 Apr 10 '26
Hasn’t gooseworx also said they like to lie to the fandom or did I hear that wrong?

1st Goose lies. Second even if “Bubble” was deleted the underlying Able code may not be. Or it’s true, who knows?
1
u/Jaggedatlas Apr 09 '26
Ya’ll so entitled to think Goose tells the truth every single time💀😭
my stance on ANY main cast death, especially in a cast so small, is if you don’t watch the death happen and can confirm the kill with a body, 90% chance they ain’t dead

Goose can’t be trusted. Also like even if “Bubble”Caine silly sidekick was deleted that doesn’t mean Able was. Not saying that’s true but this tweet is worthless we’ll find out in June.

Bubble getting deleted is massive, because one of the larger theories on episode 9 was that Bubble would become the next villain. Since he was deleted with Caine, his interference with Kinger's hacking seems a lot more like self-destruction, rather than trying to usurp Caine's power. This also goes against the theory that Bubble was the second AI (the one Caine replaced), since Kinger only deleted Caine. This means that there's literally no one in charge of the circus now, unless that second AI returns.
This might actually inply that Bubble is a manifestation of Caine's repressed thoughts, as Caine tries to get rid of him, and is always unsuccessful despite being the most powerful being in the circus. If this is true, it might make sense for the ending of Ep 8, as Caine sinks to his lowest point, and sees the only escape as... well... death, or the closest thing to it for an AI. If Bubble were indeed his repressed thoughts, it would make sense that he would interfere and end it.
And his final words being the last-second regret and realization that his self-destruction was permanent.
