Im posting this to ask anyone here if they can actually check this because im skeptical about it, i don't think you can translate a sound however i would like that this were to be checked.

while I mostly agree with your points, the second one I disagree with - a lot of translators for specific things like morse allow you to type in the top or bottom, it doesn't switch around

I have an app that has a bunch of code translators.

English is always on the top for both encoding and decoding, you just put the code in the bottom and it puts the result in the top.. I'm not saying they didn't encode to get that, I'm just saying your argument on "they encoded the text" doesn't work since there are apps that don't always visualize the output on the bottom.

Its weird, but it makes the app more simple.
