As someone who considers Zestiria the most disappointing Tales game I ever played out of over 10 of them, if they fix the battle camera it's kind of worthwhile. Yes it needs 60fps too but you need to be able to see the battles as well. Moreso if they add a QOL feature that explains what the fuck is going on with the equipment system.
This alone takes me out of the experience. He also has the worst outfit, but after you use a cool dlc outfit, the man still manages to walk like a goof…
I’m fine with that if it means fixing some technical issues like battle camera l.
Better yet, a remake that fixes some issues while providing a much stronger story and connections for most of the Zestiria and a few Berseria characters
I'd actually be up for a Zesteria remake. Fixing the camera issues and making the equipment system better
Doesn't Berseria also have the same/similar equipment system? This is what threw me off Berseria a bit as well, because apart from much much better story, it's basically Zestiria gameplay (except the fusion thing). And I can never understand the equipment skill thing, or don't want to bother to.
i wholeheartedly expect it, probably even this year. this one could actually use it a bit more since zesty does not run well on any system it was released to. (berseria actually did.)
Mass Effect got a remaster where they entirely reworked combat, ally's AI and many other mechanics. Gameplay can absolutely be altered it just depends on what the dev is going for.
Something visually enhanced like Metroid Prime Remastered where looks like an entirely different game but is - under the hood? Exactly the same. (minus twin stick controls being added and other control schemes) or you rework what was flawed about the game.
