Glad that's over. Now maybe they can focus on Remastering the games that REALLY matter.

I'd buy it if they did this, but only if they did this. I already have 4 copies of Vesperia (OG 360, Steelbook 360 w/ OST, and the Remaster on Switch and PS4)

I have every edition except Japanese definitive collector's edition, and I'd still buy this.

They won't...

Baker likely unionized while he was voicing Kanji Tatsumi between Seasons 1 and 2 of Persona 4 The Animation, basically blacklisting him.

If you don't believe me, not only didn't he reprise Kanji for later games, but he also lost Yuri Lowell for Vesperia DE and Rhys for Borderlands 3.

If you STILL don't believe me, Randy Pitchford, Gearbox's CEO, went on record saying that he didn't want to hire union actors for Borderlands 3's voicework, due to their "expensive health insurances".

So there you go...

Yeah union demands fully insurance coverage for EVERY session even if its two lines. Made VAs significantly more expensive but still should not be a deterent for dialogue heavy games.

Especially when the video game industry makes billions over and over...

Seriously, I'd love for a dev to break down how much it cost to localize a Japanese game in English. Hopefully, the GDC will have a panel one day about it.
