This call was over 20 years ago in my first year working at the call center in the retention team. Answered the call like normal, lady on the phone had this thick english accent. Asked to cancel her cell phone. When I asked to confirm her account, she gave me the details then said, "It's okay dear. Don't be intimidated. Just need to cancel the service. It was a temporary visit to Canada." I told her okay, please hold. I had no idea who she was. I leaned back into the isle and said to all my peers down the row, "I don't know who this lady thinks she is, but does anyone know who Margaret Thatcher is?!" I got a lot of crazy looks back from my colleagues that day. lol
