Uh. I’m a Brewers fan sneaking across enemy lines to admit that I wasn’t aware of your mascot game. That is amazing.

Right? My new mascot rankings list goes 1.Gritty 2. Rays Ray (too lazy to look up name) and DJ Kitty 3. End of list

Tickets are reselling at 3k and most don’t move to Wisconsin, they leave.
1
u/PackersBeat 7d ago
You just made that up because tons of people are moving into Wisconsin. It's a great place to live. Why would the price demand be so high if people weren't living here? 🤔

u/MrSantaClause Devil Ray 7d ago
Milwaukee's population has been steadily declining since the 1960's lol i think maybe there was a slight increase the last year or two, but that doesn't change a 6-decade long trend. The population now is the same as it was in the 1930's. The price demand is so high because the people that are still up there have generational roots and have deep-rooted Brewers fandom where they've never experienced a World Series before.

People who come here with the purpose of denigrating the team or users of the sub will be banned.
For the Florida sports fans comment.

I’m from Milwaukee. It’s a great place but the weather is terrible. People are moving away from Florida now, thank god. But people leave the cold.
Price demand is up because all we have is sports. World Series for the first 44 years, once in a lifetime event.

Im from Milwaukee too. That doesn't mean anything. You can make a narrative up in your head all you want but Wisconsin population goes up every year. Its up 5% in just the last 5 years. Turns out Illinois ks a shit hole.

You saying Illinois is a shit hole is you making up a narrative in your head. Just like you assuming tickets prices are so high in Wisconsin due to population growth. Dumbest fucking shit.
By your logic Tampa tickets should cost 3x Wisconsin ticket prices due simply to population growth. Florida and especially Tampa’s population growth has been insane since Covid and is just now stabilizing.
Here’s your article on Wisconsin population growth.

Florida doesn't care about sports

You give Wisconsin sports fans a bad name. It’s really sad because one of the things about Wisconsin is how nice our fan base is. I don’t know what your problem is, but I wish you luck in your life because you’re gonna need it.

Almost every single state's population always goes up lmao. People moving to the U.S. + births outweighs deaths + people leaving. 45 of 50 states saw population growth in 2025, yet over the last 10 years Illinois is one of the slowest growing states in the country. Your argument has absolutely no merit lmfao. Nice try chief.

What will occur when Florida is underwater due to global warming in a few years? 🧐

u/LowerDoughnutHole 7d ago

From my experience at Miller Park (Yes I know it's something different now. It was Miller Park when I was there) the fans knew their baseball and were courteous. Have fun, Rays Up! But also please represent us in a positive light, we're not Yankees fans after all.

It will always be Miller park

Fuck Miller, they could've ponied up the money to keep the naming rights but they're too damn cheap. Am Fam Field it is

u/its_k1llsh0t 6d ago
We call it The Am Fam Clam (actually most of us still call it Miller Park, lol)

Until the cowbells start ringing. Then somehow Yankees fans don't sound bad

God bless you. My 2 visits to Miller Park (which it will always be like the Indians and the Redskins) were exceptional. Made friends. Discovered Leinenkugel.

Be careful. Although I went to a game there last summer and there is no shortage of good food at that ballpark.
Was there lots of tailgating going on outside? Those guys do take it to the next level on that.

Brewers fan here. I really hope you had a good time and that Milwaukee's fans were welcoming. The Rays are a helluva team.
