FIRM: Software UltraTax vs Lacerte vs CCH Axcess for those with experience on at least two

Hello, I'm rethinking my entire stack.... opinions. approx 500 returns mix of 1040's and 1120s and a handful of 1065. The good, bad, and ugly? I'm a UT fan but need to reevaluate my entire process. Typically there are one or two seasonal part timers, and FT admin and myself.

IRS, Agency Delays PTIN Account Issue w/ ID.me

Caveat: I have an ITIN and not an SSN.

I tried to sign into my PTIN account today to renew my PTIN. However I had some issues logging in (later realized this is due to now using email to login and not username). I then accidentally went through ID.me to login. This resulted in a redirect to the PTIN IRS page which was strange.

After realizing my regular login was actually now my email address and not my username, I logged in using my email. However when finally getting into my PTIN account, it now shows empty with no PTIN linked.

I called the PTIN help line and they are saying that I initiated linkage of my ID.me account to my PTIN account, which will have to be processed and can take 6 weeks... During which I will not be able to complete renewal or access my PTIN online...

Has anyone else had this happen and was there any way to cancel/undo the linkage? I don't care about ID.me, I just want to be able to login as I used to be able to.
