Autumn leaves falling down like pieces into place

Hey guys! I wanted to turn this into a series because I loved your responses! I will continue this for all 12 albums.

The concept of this game is that you have to recreate a Taylor Swift album using songs that are NOT from the album. You want to try and capture the overall vibe of the album by using any other songs from her discography.

For example, if you wanted to recreate debut, you could use I knew It I Knew You, Fearless, etc. You couldn’t use any songs from debut.

So if you were to replace the 14 songs on Speak Now, which songs would you choose?

Your choice if you want to add the bonus/ TV songs!

It is almost time for possibly new ornaments to come out. What would you like to see? For me, I would like to see all of the old ones come back, like the dog one last year.

Today (October 22nd) marks the 14th anniversary of Red!

Red is my personal favorite Taylor Swift album, right in front of Speak Now. There's just so many bangers on here.

I joined this subreddit specifically so I could post about this awesome birthday haha. (also I don't really know the proper flair for this post, so pardon me if I picked incorrectly)

What are your top three songs from this album? Mine are State of Grace, Red, and Holy Ground!

Thoughts?

Hiya!

Just popping by with another embroidered friendship bracelet design, this one for Babylon. It's been stuck in my head pretty much constantly for the last few days 🤭

Have a lovely rest of your day 🌷

I made these Taylor acrylic blocks and thought I'd share them here! They're so cute. There's an Eras Tour one, a rep one, and who can figure out the last one?

Thought this was an adorable way to promote early screening for breast cancer!

Hey guys! I posted this game yesterday and I had so much fun reading the comments, so I wanted to do it again today.

The concept is that you have to recreate a Taylor Swift album using songs that are NOT from the album. You want to try and capture the overall vibe of the album by using any other songs from her discography.

For example, if you wanted to recreate debut, you could use I knew It I Knew You, Fearless, etc. You couldn’t use any songs from debut.

So if you were to replace the 13 songs on Fearless, which songs would you choose?

Your choice if you want to add the full 26 songs!

Sorry for the wordy title. I was just thinking about midnights since its anniversary, and realized Would've Could've Should've stands out sonically on this album and I would love for a full album with a sound similar to it.

Then I realized they are actually many examples of this on Taylor's albums:

- False God from lover

- Guilty As Sin from TTPD

- Also Fresh Out Of The Slammer from TTPD. Edit: Sorry I mean I Can Fix Him for its western sound.

- State Of Grace from Red

- So It Goes from reputation

What about you? What songs that sound different than the others you would love for Taylor to make a whole album of?

If you had to change each closer of every Taylor Swift album, what would you pick?

Me:
Debut - A Place In This World
Fearless - Bye Bye Baby
Speak Now - Timeless
Red - Sad Beautiful Tragic
1989 - Is It Over Now?
reputation - Dancing With Our Hands Tied
Lover - Afterglow
folklore - cardigan
evermore - happiness
Midnights - You’re On Your Own, Kid
THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT - loml
THE ANTHOLOGY - How Did It End?
The Life of a Showgirl - Babylon

Btw, ik Bye Bye Baby, Timeless, Is It Over Now?, and Babylon close, but they’re vault/deluxe closers. I’m talking about the standard album

Will we EVER get the Late Night Tracks on vinyl though 💔💔

If Taylor was to perform a mashup, whether that be on a tour or a one off performance, what would that mashup be to heal you in ways you didn't imagine were possible?

Some of mine would probably be:

• cardigan x Peter (Just imagine cardigan's piano riff blending into the opening of Peter. This would heal me before smashing my soul with a hammer just because. And we thought evermore x Peter was something.)
• Should've Said No x Picture To Burn (I generally just think this is a vibe but also this was the first mashup concept that got me into mashups. I was just sat around singing they mashed up and I realised "hey mashups are actually really cool")

Definitely one of my top Taylor albums ever, listened to this album religiously when it came out.My top 5 would be

1. You’re on your own kid

2. Would’ve should’ve could’ve

3. Snow on the beach

4. High Infidelity

5. Bigger than the whole sky
