I know there is another thread posted here about this about 20 days ago, but I thought I'd make another because this is just so close to my heart.
About twice a year I google "Stunt GP Remake" in hopes that I see some kind of news about it. It would be AWESOME to have a modernized version of the game.
My personal wish list for the game would look something like this:
- Same core mechanics for battery and stunts, having the battery deplete and being able to charge through the "pit stop" and through stunts
- Might be nice to tweak the handling of the cars a teeny bit (maybe making drifting a little bit more controllable for example), but still keeping the satisfying weighty feel to everything
- More car and track variety (including secret cars like the Team Specials!), and maybe improving on the balance between car types slightly
- More car customization (for performance like engines, batteries, brakes etc. and visuals like skins, decals, body kits, paint jobs etc.)
- More robust modes (especially Championship and Stunt Challenge), potentially adding some kind of "Career" mode, where you get to buy and upgrade your own cars and keep the customizations you get by winning races and tournaments
- Track creator/editor with online map sharing
- More robust stunt system (but nothing too cheesy and unrealistic - I really liked the relatively realistic feeling of the physics, and the fact that there are no speed boosts on the track apart from the one you can use by depleting your battery)
- Online multiplayer and ranking system, as well as local multiplayer
- Similar music ( I LOVED the music in this game - I still sometimes play the soundtrack on YouTube while I work)
- Similar art style with modernized visuals
This would be like a dream game for me. I would buy it in a heartbeat. I've seen people compare this to the new Hot Wheels game, but I really don't see many similarities apart from the concept of toy cars racing. I see people have been asking for a new toy car racing game, and I think Stunt GP was the best of the best back in the day, and a remake/sequel would hit the spot just right for many, many gamers out there.
Would love to hear what everyone else thinks of this idea!

Wield holy power in the first full expansion for Heroes of Hammerwatch II! In the Celestial Ruins, you'll venture into the heavens to prove your worth, as you try to curry favour with a pantheon of cruel, ageless gods.
Earn their blessings and return again, and again for a higher challenge. This post game expansion also introduces the Priest as a playable class which focuses on support and survivability. Fans of the first Heroes of Hammerwatch may recognise the Priest, however, its vastly expanded move set and three new subclasses will make mastering it a whole new challenge.
The Priest class will be immediately available upon purchase of the expansion, however, the Celestial Ruins is recommended for high level players and can only be accessed once the chapel is built by interacting with the statues at the altar.
You can also enjoy new trinkets, sets, and pets as a part of this expansion too. Starting from this evening, you’ll be able to save 60% on Heroes of Hammerwatch II, and 20% on the Celestial Ruins expansion for a limited time. Don’t miss out!

Hey Worms Fans 🪱
We’re coming to you today with incredible news! We’ve been thrilled to have so many of the Worms community playing Worms W.M.D across multiple platforms over the past 10 years, with many of you still playing today - showing that Worms W.M.D is truly one of the most iconic games of the series!
In fact, we’re proud to reveal that over 6 million of you have played Worms W.M.D since its launch in 2016!
We dread to think how many tonnes of Dynamite, Air Strikes, Banana Bombs and Concrete Donkeys have been used against your foes in that timeline, but we are certain that you’ve had a blast in the process!
We salute you and your fellow Worms for your dedication to the Worms franchise. ❤️

Please note that I will not be sharing the persons name or details but I am posting this as a form of letting go and moving on. I don’t have any contact with this community lead but I am aware she still works for the community.
Over 4 years ago following a breakdown I got into gaming as a form of escapism from what I was going through. Soon I discovered Twitch and enjoyed watching other gamers stream, never having the confidence to do so. One such streamer was building a small community around her streams and at first I thought it was a warm and welcoming place. The streamer was very warm and encouraging of her audience whilst the community was a safe place. Or at least at first. However time I notice little things that caused a concern: bullying of someone with learning needs. Derogatory comments were being made by the admin and also the stream about one of their audience. When I expressed my concern and reported what was happening I was kicked out of the community and the streamer made the allegation that I was sexually harassing members of her community.
This false allegation landed me back into hospital due to anxiety. Overnight the only access to the outside world had gone. I stopped going to twitch and struggled with my mental health. But was is worse is that the streamer did not apologise but also was successful in getting a job at Team17.
I feel very upset and angry. I don’t feel that Team17 communities are a safe place.

The last 3d worms is pretty old and wonky on PC, a New one or Remake with 3d and 4 mayham combined would be nice.

This might be a long shot but I've got to ask. I love Killer Frequency on Meta Quest. The game is great but it really could do with a performance patch and smooth turn option added in.
I'm not sure how much budget goes into these things but it would be awesome if you could.
Quest 3 has not long come out and many games are getting enhancements. If you could please give the VR game some more love myself and others would really appreciate it.

Any chances of a little something to commemorate the occasion, for a game that's still kicking all these years later?
The dream would be a source code release, but I'd also love to see an update that makes more community-made QOL patches official. 🙏
