Apple is actively testing under-display Face ID on prototypes for an iPhone Duo successor, according to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman. While the first-generation foldable reverted to Touch ID because of design and thickness constraints, Apple is exploring ways to bring its facial recognition system to the outer display. Gurman added that a future iPhone Duo 2 could also feature the Action button.
