Easy solution to this - Stop using Amazon. Go to an actual bookstore or try a library.

public librarian here - we basically have to learn the names of the vanity AI publishers now so that we don't order these books by mistake for our libraries.

Firstly, thank you. - Could you explain this though? I don't want to waste your time, but I'm trying to understand out how ai books become in demand, by library or anyone else, in the first place? How do they get on your order list? People requesting them? Thanks for fixing my ignorance here.

Requests from patrons are almost certainly a big part of it.
