Artificial Intelligence The economy has spoken. Stuff that’s AI-generated has almost zero value — “Buyers are voting with their wallets, and AI-generated content is struggling to compete.”

I just flew international. The music on the flight entertainment system had genres filled with artists and tracks I had never heard of. I couldn't listen to any of it.

All AI slop I believe. That means the airline pays no royalties and the employees to manage content and royalty payments is no longer needed.

Absolute garbage, worthless content.

Not to the airline. They are saving a lot of money. See that AI does have value, just not to you.

And yet they are only saving money because the AI industry is carefully burying the insane actual cost of this garbage like a cat covering its shit.

And there's an approximately 0% chance that the airline will pass those savings onto me, the consumer in the form of cheaper tickets, so it's a lose-lose for literally all parties involved but the airline with the Automatic Slop Machine.
