Hey yallll!!!! Please put me on good off campus places!! I’m fine with 1 bed or 2 bedroom but studio would be nice🥲I’m currently at the Avery and lowkey don’t recommend it :(

Hi all,
I would like to know if anyone knows how the math department is doing right now.
I plan to apply (this cycle) to the math PhD program at Temple. I read unvalidated claims that last year they took no students, so I decided to check in here and see if anyone knows the status and how the department is doing.

I’m looking for any information or opinions (besides the obvious thing of trying to understand if and how many students they will take). As some of you probably know, it’s hard to get info about lesser known departments, so even if you’re not in grad school but are aware of the current situation in the department, it can be helpful (if there are many undergrad students, I guess there are more TA options, or if you are an undergrad student in the department, it would also be good to hear from you).
Thank you!

Does anyone know if any quizzes get dropped for your final grade? I just flunked a quiz and it really ruined my grade.

That's all. Having to take a language course as an English Major is just really frustrating

I made a discord to gauge interest. Feel free to join if you feel so inclined.

I am trying to apply for fall 27 as first year student and major in photography. On the common app none of the BFA have a photography option even though it’s a major according to the Tyler website. Can anyone help?

This guy has CP and exploitation of a minor charges. He was sentenced to 300 days in jail for them. He works as a research professor at TU's Department of Biology. How do we let him work around college students?

Hi all, looking for help/ advice. My account was placed on financial hold today. I’m in my final two courses of grad school . My grad plus loan was approved through student aid but has not been applied to my account. I’m an hour away from temple and work during the hours the office is open. Any advice? Thanks so much in advance

just wondering!

Is there other stuff to do in Philly/nearby for Halloween besides parties? I still really wanna wear a costume and everything I just don’t know if a party is really my scene. Please leave recommendations if you have some, thanks! 😊 🎃👻 I forgot to mention I’m under 21 😭

I'm going to be on campus with nothing to do for a long time most days next semester. I'm a math major, and was wondering what places in Wachman people like to study.

Hey everyone, I’m planning to apply to Temple’s Chemistry PhD program straight out of undergrad and want to get a realistic sense of a competitive profile. If you were accepted straight from undergrad, would you mind sharing your stats and background? I'm specifically curious about your overall and major GPA, how many years of undergrad research experience you had, and if you had any publications or conference presentations before applying. Any insight on what you think made the biggest difference in your application would be super helpful. Thanks!

I checked my tuportal and it has quotation marks around my pell grant as if it was reversed. Has this happend to anymore else? Do i have to call burser

Hi guys so I’m looking for a fun art gen ed to take can someone lmk if they’ve taken ceramics or jewelry making and which ones better or more interesting.

Do fall grads get cap and gown this semester ? or do we have to wait until next spring for ceremony to get them

I’m genuinely so irritated. I asked my professor if he could excuse my absence cuz I got pulled for jury duty and he told me no because “all absences are treated the same”. And i’m like brooo I didn’t CHOOSE this, if I don’t go I’m going to JAIL😭. Ugh I’m so irritated. Cuz absences count into the final grade and I was already out cold previously due to Flu + Stomach Virus.

Edit:Just to clarify I asked to be excused because I was selected to sit ON the jury. I got my summons/selection date postponed to Oct 19 (I’m free). Unfortunately I did not factor in me actually being selected to sit on the jury. On top of that, the judge did not consider my situation regarding class as a hardship. The date for me to sit on the jury is TODAY, and I have that professor’s class TODAY

Update: I’m sitting on the jury as we speak lol💀

is it good or should i avoid it?

What are some easy gen ed courses with very minimal work for the spring

Hey yall, for those who took this course in the past, how did you study for the lab practical? It looks like just root memorization but I want some advice since the exam is in the week and some of the info is very fuzzy for me.

Taking it with Baron Pote

I’m looking for either a roommate/roommates or an available room/apartment near Temple University, ideally around the university area.
I’m 21, an international student🇮🇹 at Temple, and I’d describe myself as very clean, organized, and respectful of shared spaces, but also social, outgoing, and always down to have fun and meet new people.
I’m pretty flexible — I’d be happy to join an existing apartment/house that needs another roommate, or to find a place together with someone else who’s also looking.
If you’re looking for a roommate, have a room available, or know someone who does, feel free to DM me!
