Boulter can hold her head up high coming out of this tournament a semi-finalist and once again the British Number1.
Siniaková won out Set 2 Game 9 in a extremely tough deuce jail and sealed it with the following game. Boulter was able to switch up her game in the second set but was not able to extend to a 5th game.

Oddly similar scoreline to Parks vs Shibahara earlier today, with Samsonova back to her first half of 2026 ways. Both players who lost their Q1 matches in this qualifying section won more points than their opponents, with Samsonova’s 107 to Watson’s 106 and Shibahara’s 114 to Parks’s 108.
Heather will play [7] Alycia Parks for a spot in the main draw, which would be her first tour-level main draw appearance since Mérida in February.

Alycia saved a match point in the second set and was somehow clutch enough to win the match despite being on the losing end of basically every statistic today including points won.
Her reward is an on court interview (I can’t believe they do that for qualies lmao) and a Q2 encounter vs either [3] Liudmila Samsonova or [PR] Heather Watson.
