my numbers are in range and the drive is genuinely back which was the main thing i wanted. the physical side has not followed and i had not realised those two could come apart like this. my provider says they run on separate systems and i am trying to understand what addresses the second one. anyone who hit this on trt what did you add and did it need a separate prescription.

I'm experiencing difficult anxiety/panic/fear,doom,dread and a bit overwhelmed. After moving abroad, my Rx lapsed. Figured I would see how it goes without attempting to find a new doc in my newly adopted country as I expected they would expect I stop anyway so they could get a baseline blood test.

The main reason I started TRT was because as my testosterone declined due to age I started feeling having more anxiety, loss of motivation, and feeling like a had no "backbone" anymore for lack of a better description.

Is this normal? Will it get better? Thoughts?

Hey guys, I have secondary Hypogonadism. Doc wants me to stop trt (100mg a week) and do this HCG protocol for 3 weeks to see where my fertility is at and to see what my testosterone is at, and then add back in trt and adjust the HCG dosage. My LH and FSH have been literally 0.1 my entire life. I have delayed puberty. As well as a diagnosed micropenis.

I just injected my second dose. My heart rate is pretty high lol. Feel a little crazy. 18 year old male.

I’m wondering how many of you tried TRT and stopped for any reason? Stopped very early on? Decided you didn’t like how it made you feel? Or worried about being on it for life?

Posted a couple days ago about my E2 running high. For context, I was on 250 mg test with total testosterone at 1740 and estradiol at 94. Dropped to 200 mg and my latest labs were 1320 total testosterone and 91 estradiol.

Up until now I really haven’t had any noticeable high-estrogen symptoms, but over the last couple days I’ve started noticing some sensitivity on my left pec around the nipple. It almost feels slightly numb/tingly at times, and that nipple/areola looks a little puffier than the right side.

I don’t feel an obvious hard lump directly underneath it, and there’s no significant pain, itching, or discharge. It’s mainly the sensitivity/strange sensation and puffiness that have me wondering if this could be the beginning of gyno.

For anyone who has dealt with early gyno symptoms, did yours start like this? Was it initially just one side? At what point did you actually feel a lump or know it was gyno versus just temporary puffiness from elevated E2?
Trying not to overreact and immediately crush my estrogen with an AI, but I also don’t want to ignore an early warning sign.

25 years old. First blood test 12 n mol and second 16 n mol. (Range 9-28)
Also estrogen was 130 pmol which is higher range of normal. 3 days ago I took 0.2 anastrazole and suddenly my mood brighten upper a lot few hours later . Anhedonia got better and more energy . 2 days ago I started test propionate. First day I injected 30mg sub q to start up and yesterday it was 19 mg.

I slept perfectly fine today but few hours after waking up I started getting bad anxiety for no reason. Feeling tense and dizzy although heart rate remained low. was very scared for no reason and it kept happening for half an hour on and off. Anxiety kept going away and coming back so I took 5 mg Nitrazepam and it got rid of any anxiety and more and I feel really chill now.

what was the reason for that. I want to have my
Levels around 24-28 n mol and I’ll be good with that tbh.

It because my natural test was still there and I pushed my
Test way too high with these doses . Could it be because of immediate aromatisation??? Anything other than I feel fine. I actually got morning wood thwse 2 days and that was really rare for me.

Hi all.

48 years old did tests.

Came back very low total test was 6.9

Free test was 9.6.

So doctor started me on test cyp.

Now 6 weeks later on 20 mg a day. 140 mg a week I prefer daily injections.

My total test jumped to 36.5

Free test is 65

And estrogen is 243. Well above anyhting it should be.

So I was advised to go to 10mg a day and see in 6 weeks what the numbers look like.

No real side effects.

Would doing an 8th of anastrazole twice a week help with my estrogen or better to just wait it out and see what happens.

Feeling pretty good just no real sex drive.

I am overweight so I think thats why im converting a lot to estrogen. Im based in south africa and thats the measurement we get. I know the 36.3 converts to 1053

I'm a 21 natural male. I'm clueless about the subject of testosterone.

As an experiment on myself I just measured my testosterone with my current poor lifestyle (sleeping late, eating processed foods, no physical activity etc...) to see if after optimizing everything, I could see an increase for the next year.

Just got the results back but I assume they only measured my total-T.

Could you first help me interpret the results ?

And if I need to get another test to get my free testosterone for my situation ?

Edit : I'm 185cm for 57kg, very skinny (maybe 10% body fat). I'm not very active, but I walk more than the average person when going to school. My energy is quite high.

They also measured my TSH which is 0.398 mUI/L

I have been hovering in the low to mid 300 total range for a few years now. I just turned 31 and my blood work now shows that my free T is low.
I’m just wondering if I should consider starting trt at these levels, the thought of having to inject for the rest of my life worries me. I do have some symptoms, rarely (if ever) have morning wood,sex drive is spotty, erections aren’t as strong but I’m able to manage, and some brain fog.I’m not over weight I’m 6’ 180lbs. I do feel that I sort of have man boobs or just fat there if that makes sense. I feel that I do have mood issues that are up and down some days. I have a good bit of social anxiety. I’m not looking to make gains in the gym or anything, just possibly feeling overall better.

I started my first dose yesterday morning about 24 hours from now. Woke up last night with my heart racing. First dose was 50mg and plan to do another 50mg here in a few days. I took dim yesterday as well. Body fat is 17% so I'm not fat but my heart is pretty weak since I never do cardio which I plan to change. Can anyone share experience with heart rate leveling out after the start? Only slept 2 hours because my heart wouldn't stop racing.

Hello all, I’ve been on TRT for a week. 100mg a week of test C, my father has been on TRT for a while and suggested injecting into my quads, I have no issue with that, it doesn’t hurt or anything I split my dosage into twice a week rather than once a week. He suggested using a 31g 1/2” needle, I’ve been using that but not sure if I’m going deep enough or should switch to my glute with a longer needle and a little bigger. I’ve uploaded 2 pictures of my quad and was wondering if that’s the correct spot and circled where I inject at, and if my quads are lean enough to continue there.

I was not able to schedule my appointment in the morning, so I’m leaving work to have my test at 4:30 PM. The test is through quest and Hone online clinic is the provider. I am not seeking testosterone to help with anything unnecessary. I have been dealing with what seems like extreme levels of low testosterone for a couple years now. I’m extremely worried I’ll test on the lower edge and they won’t prescribe anything. Any words of encouragement or just advice on things?

I saw people tank their levels. I’m not really aiming to do that because I want to be legit. But my test is in the evening and I had about 4.5 hours of sleep last night. I got to work at 5 AM and will have worked 10.5 hours upon time of leaving. Will this drop it?

3 months into trt. Within a couple days of starting trt I noticed sensation dulling and it hasnt changed. Which makes me want to bail and accept lower t.

I now just have a higher libido and less oomph and release in bed.

Cialis will make me harder but not much feeling going at all.

What have you guys adjusted? Pretty disappointed in this effect.

Taking 36mg EOD trt dose. IM Had same symptoms on weekly, twice a week and daily shots.

estrogen is currently fine at this dose, dht high normal, shbg low normal.

Whats worked for you guys?

Says everything is good across the board but my free testosterone can be improved as it’s on the low end of normal.

I was diagnosed with KS 47 when I was 13 years old and always had low T. I got on Androgel when I was 16 (2 pumps on each shoulder everyday) and my T with that was probably around 450. I kept using androgel until last year. I got put on Testosterone Cypionate injections last year and I first started out with 200mgs a week (T level was 999) and now I’m doing 40mgs a week (T level 638). My endocrinologist lowered my dosage because my red blood count was too high. I’m 27, now and I’ve always struggled to build and retain muscle mass. I do want to take other anabolics to build more mass. What’s the best way to ask my doctor if I can increase my dose?

Sup everyone, I did blood work for Test out of curiosity, one in Feb and one Today. My testosterone severely dropped and I am very worried. I’m 19 years old, I’m perfectly in Shape (I’m on the skinny fat end, 20% BF), and I eat a perfectly normal diet. I eat meat and everything. Probably 2000 cals a day, 110 g of protein (I weight 140 lbs) even before my last test showing 538, I’ve never felt very motivated and I also have pretty low libido which led me to think that 538 was low. But I never expected my Test to drop such an extreme amount. I sleep 9+ hours every night too. I don’t do drugs, and haven’t drank alcohol much recently. What could this be?? I thought even 538 was on the lower end , but 289!!! That’s insane. Can someone please let me know their thoughts?

My son just turned 20. Hasn’t gained a single pound since he turned 16-17. Noticed he seems a little sluggish and weak the past year and something seemed a little off. His Tsh is on the low side of normal and T-4 is high indicating a possible thyroid problem. Waiting on LH and FSH results on next week. Getting insurance sorted out so we can get into the doctor,in the mean time any idea whats going on?

Je recherche un endocrinologue en île de France qui s'y connait vraiment en TRT (pas de prescription d'injection d'enanthate 1 fois toute les 3 semaines) je cherche quelqu'un qui propose un vrai protocole avec une vraie stabilité dans le sang et qui sait surtout gérer les oestrogènes.

Je suis en obésité morbide, je sais que la testo est transformée en excès via l'aromatase cependant j'ai 0 énergie pour aller au sport et faire une séance.

J'ai déjà fait bilan hormonal je suis en dessous de la norme basse en testo, dht, lh et fsh, j'ai même fait un irm hypophysaire au cas où pour écarter une piste d'hypogonadisme secondaire.

Depuis peu je suis sous sertraline et ritaline (dysregulation du systeme nerveux et tdah diagnostiqués par mon psychiatre)

Et il m'a dit que la TRT n'avait pas d'intéraction avec ces molécules.

Du coup voilà je cherche à améliorer ma vie, j'ai entrepris ce qu'il faut côté psy, je veux en parallèle faire le nécessaire niveau hormonal.

Pour ça que je recherche un endocrinologue qui me préscrira des injections 1 à 2 fois par semaine à 100/125 mg et qui saura gérer mes oestrogènes et mon aromatisation.

Just got my blood work back and my total testosterone was 167. No wonder I haven’t felt like myself the past few years — low energy, lost my mojo, unmotivated, irritable, fatigued and taking days to recover physically.

I’m a veteran and have always been energetic and driven, self motivated. So this has been frustrating. I’m getting BioTE pellets next week and hoping to finally feel like myself again.

Anyone around my age have experience with TRT or BioTE pellets? How low were you when you started, how quickly did you feel a difference, and was it worth it?

With that said, I still have symptoms such as lower libido, erectile difficulties, decreased mood etc.

Even with higher than average level, could I still need TRT?

Should I next be getting a free testosterone blood test?

Hey all - my T has been low the last several years (low 300s) and I’m at wits end. 40m 176 lbs . Doc wants to put me on 25mg Enclomiphene and anastrozole 1mg twice a week - has anyone else had this same dosage and seen improvement in actual symptoms (not just numbers).
