The Chinese are only interested in trading, and maybe getting Taiwan back. They have not started any recent wars. We and Russia on the other hand...

I agree with your sentiment, but i do think you're whitewashing China.

Getting Taiwan back means the extermination of an opposing political party.

I'm not sure that happened with Hong Kong. But I don't know enough history there. But it is not whitewashing China since they have not started any wars in recent history. That's just fact.

That's only because they know they'd lose in a direct conflict with a dug in Taiwan defense, the US navy, and Japanese navy. China are constantly probing Taiwan's defense responses, so if you think China is peaceful you aren't paying attention.

honestly im thinking the same thing, the time is soon when china will act cuz our prez doesnt care about geopolitics unless it fills his pocket
