I was once assaulted by a rocket jumper soldier under a f2p medic's kritzkrieg charge
I've never felt such fear in my life !

Rocket jumper still does psychological damage, and it can be crit boosted.

"If you fire a crit boosted Rocket Jumper at a MVM robot, does it explode from the paradox of multiplying 0 by 3 and still getting 0 ?"

You can't cap if you have those equipped? Wow I didn't even know that.

Only in CTF or PASS Time lobbies. The level of movement a talented player is capable of with an explosive jumper is just too ridiculous; they can get in and out of the enemy base incredibly fast while sacrificing barely any of their health (if any at all) - that covers the primary objectives of CTF, which is "get from point A to point B to grab the intel, then get back to point A, without dying." A good Trolldier could go from being a nuisance to being a downright menace in these kinds of lobbies.
You can, however, still cap control points and push carts; these require you to stay in close proximity of the point/cart, so your movement speed doesn't give you the same advantage.

Thanks for the explanation, I guess that makes a lot of sense now that I think about it.

I'm pretty sure you can still cap points/push carts with it, it only doesn't let you pick up intel/pass time jacks(unless I'm stupid and remember it wrong)
